I died. And came to life. If whiteside was playing non of those offensive rebounds ever happen

The problem is Nurk is necessary when they double Dame. He can move the ball while Hassan can't. I saw Nurk being overpowered on many rebounds, but now that i think about it what was Melo doing? The guy was not even in the picture and he was our PF.

Look at how the Warriors played in fall 2015 when Kerr was sidelined with back injury and Luke Walton was coaching. They won 24 in a row. Don't matter who coached that team.

He was using Kerr's playbook. Jackson couldn't coach an ant to run

Because they had an amazing system that Kerr had implemented. It didn’t matter which one of his assistants coached, the players all knew the system, with or without Kerr on the sideline. Blazers, on the other hand, have no system on offence (iso ball / weave) and literally nothing on defense.

I was gonna say this win or lose, but:

HELL of a job by the suns in the bubble. Proud as hell of them. If we had lost this game I was gonna root for the suns all the way. 8-0 man. They should not hang their heads. Props.
Monty is a hell of a coach and Booker is a bona fide star

But Luke Walton went on to prove he's a great coach and talent doesn't matter. Right?

I have a feeling the Lakers aren't exactly shaking in their boots after watching this game

They should be. We will play shitty D all game and still beat them by 1

I don't think they ever were.

The only thing about Portland that should worry the Lakers is that they're probably going to deploy a strategy of doubling Dame and leaving others wide open. Can't think of a time where a #1 seed had to deploy a strategy of leaving decent NBA players wide open. Usually the #1 seed is just so much better they don't have to get cute.

Yeah, they had nothing to lose. Still get the pick they would have. Hell of a run. Showing the league they shouldn't be underestimated and are on the rise.

Would've made it to the playoffs too if it weren't for those pesky Blazers and their cat too

This team got it done against a team trying to take our season from us. Yeah this was about the worst they played in the bubble but Dame willed us to victory and now we get two chances to beat a Memphis team we should be able to beat in one game.
The Nets had won 3 in Row and 4 of last 5.
No easy games!

Don't you think Luke took that exact system to Sacramento? Pretty sure he did.

That same system won 15 games this year.

Talent is a big part of things.

Dame has averaged 30+ points for the season. Only Blazer ever.

Does anyone know if the play in game counts towards regular season stats or playoff stats?

It should our record will reflect it

Imagine watching this as a suns fan. Blazers gotta bench collins though. Hes like Meyers without a jumper

The Nets bringing doubles to Lillard before he even crosses half court is something I have NEVER seen. Even the gimmick defenses on Harden wait until he's crossed half court. The full anti-denial on Lillard is the craziest respect move against a player that has ever happened in the history of the NBA.

Interesting... To me, this is a post-season game.

If we win we stay in 8th and advance. If Mem wins two they will be 8th and advance to the playoffs.
