Lol Oregonians.

get out. Put card in. Enter code. Put in pump. Once you hear the click your good to go.

Don’t have to wait for anyone or deal with ex con or 18 year old pumping gas

Honestly I’m surprised they haven’t done away with it yet. Struggling to find people who want to work for fast food. At least doing that you don’t have to deal with the cold and heat.

For some, it might be the most manual labor you’ll do all day :emotions:

Let me hear that engine....VROOM ...there goes 10 bucks.....Vroom....there goes 20......I'll be passing you and your tow truck in my hybrid that costs less than 10 bucks to drive halfway across the state and back....from central coast to Moda and back....filled my Prius after leaving with a full tank and the trip (over 600 miles) a whopping 9$ .....eat that gas guzzling motorhead! BAM! Saw a video of a guy driving an 69 SS Chevelle with a big block V8 around Nashville that he gets a whopping 7mpg in ! But he thinks it makes him look really cool! That's the anti hipster for you....in my car you rarely need to get gas.
BUT YOU SRE DRIVING A FUCKING PRIUS FAMS!!!! My car doesn’t make me look cool…. I already am! Nothing better than hitting open road in my car. Even when broke, that’s worth it to me.

Fuck all that. People would rather get out into the rain and spill gas on their hands than chill and extra 2 minutes?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA ... I've pumped my own gas 99.99999% of my life (other than when I had to sit around waiting for gas in Oregon) and have not once spilled it on my hands. Plus you know they have these things called roofs that sit over gas pumps so you don't get wet in the rain. This has to be nominated for Charmin Soft Post of the Year on these boards, and that's saying something.

He lives IN PORTLAND though. Cut him some slack.

You probably drive one of these huh?

Never understood why this is such a hot button issue with some. Like pumping your gas or having an attendant do it is a big deal. I prefer to let someone else do it but it's whatevs

I do feel like a dummy when I go to Washington and forget, then sit in my car for a few minutes getting angry and thinking "damn the service here is shit!"

I prefer it as it is

why are people so impatient when getting gas? If you have somewhere to be, plan better
It takes about 5 minutes longer to get gas with an attendant then if I pump it my self. Get gas once a week. 52 weeks in a year times those 5 minutes is 260 minutes of 4 hours and 20 minutes. I have better things to do in my life then spend 4+ hours a year waiting on a gas attendant.

I barely and I mean barely pay $6,000 in gas for a trip like that. Good thing I'm a multi Billionaire.

It makes no sense to want to pump your own gas. It’s ridiculous. Lived in CA for 25 years. Why someone would prefer to do it instead of sitting in car and having someone do it makes no sense. But yeah “oh you crazy Oregonians!”

I had a gas jockey leave the cap off just last weekend. But I'm old and forgetful so who knows, I might do that if I pumped it myself now.
