Be careful what you wish for ... but hey, I hope he (and Bayless) play well, 'cause we're going to need it.
 
im excited as well, i expect to see 10 assists and even a 3 pointer, assuming he gets 24 minutes.
 
He has to start. If Rudy doesn't play, Bayless must be the back up SG.

Interesting note, Bayless took 3 more shots tonight than Sergio (and made 4 more) and had 1 fewer assists (and 11 more free throw attempts, and 19 more points).
 
Sergio will start again, knowing Nate.
 
Sergio will probably start again just to give him another chance (anyone can have a bad game; Bayless did against the Sixers). I'd love it if Bayless started though. I've wanted him starting all season.

it makes a lot more sense to start bayless and have him on the court with roy and then allow sergio and rudy to come off the bench together so they are on the court together for the majority of sergio's minutes since they play well together.

Great point. Hey- do you remember, during the 06-07 season when Canzano said we should build the team around Sergio? I wish I could find it on the internet.

I remember him saying that Pooh Jeter was a better prospect than Telfair (although at the time, Sebastian wasn't exactly proving Canzano wrong. Time, like it always does, proved Canzano wrong).
 
Guys! Sergio is a better defender, better PG, better player, better everything. Bayless sucks, horrible defense, horrible shot

I hate to agree with anything you say, but that's the way to go.

However, when Blake returns I would put Bayless back at the end of the line as he does nothing for the bench squad at all, and he's no Steve Blake.

So far, Blake has him beat on 3 point FG% (but he has Sergio beat too), and overall FG%, and experience.

But here's an interesting fact. Blake has been to the FT 49 times this year in 1700 minutes. Bayless has been to the FT 41 times in 194 minutes.

That stat says it all. That's why Bayless/Roy is the future. We'll be unstoppable.
