Trading Robinson or Leonard for Hawes at this point would be a long term disaster and a short term meh.

How could trading 2 scrubs be a disaster? TRob hustles, but brings nothing else to the table. Leonard doesn't even have that going for him.

I see that your very high on Leonard. You think he will be starter material say in like 2-3 years?

I missed where we were needing a starting C. If he is as much of scrub as people here think then his trade value is null ... it couldn't be lower. It takes a couple years for most centers to learn before you can expect anything from them. I honestly doubt he becomes a starter but I think he has enough physical tools that he is worth hanging onto through the summer, then if he still I lost next year dump him fir a 2nd rounder.

I don't care if Robinson lives up to being a #5 pick... it wasn't our pick we traded 2nd round picks for him. He is fine as a reserve.

We didn't have the second round picks they were looking for (or the first round picks).

Ok Fucking seriously we didn't have an expiring/non-guranteed of that size nor 2 2nd round picks to send.

8 months ago at the draft, Olshey spent 2 #2s to get Crabbe. So Hawes' price is someone named Crabbe and someone named Earl.

Many new GMs/coaches start by spending assets saved by their predecessors (Lenny Wilkins at about 5 teams, every single time). So I complained about losing a decade's worth of 2s and everyone said, they're worthless, who cares.

Crabbe was a mistake. Lopez was worth it, though.

Really? Both guys rebound at better than 10 per 36. To have young bigs that come in and grab boards then they are doing something productive.
