SETH Curry to Portland

Meyers may have the slowest "twitch" reactions I have ever seen in a basketball player, combine that with no apparent instincts its a "deadly" combo:banghead2:

Yeah defense is not his strong point. Surprisingly he still shot near 60% from the field (42% from deep)
There is a possibility that next summer those 1 year contracts (Meyers and ET and Moe) could be useful in a trade.

So we draft two players that play the same position as our two best players and then sign two players that play the same position as our two draft picks........ this is JUST now hitting me.......

Don't feel bad - Neil still hasn't figured it out!

Edit: Also, since I am feeling snarky, Simmons has no position other than "playground." At best, he is Telfair 2.0.

The way I see it we're loading up on 3pt shooters...our defenders Chief and ET won't need to shoot them anymore

with Chief, Mo or ET in their grill though...Baldwin in their grill...the good thing is we can get 3rd or 4th option 3 pt shooting out of it...I think it's interesting...and I think our young bigs will be fine

lol.

Yeah. The most puzzling thing of all so far.

This is going to be such an upgrade over Napier. Curry seems like a better defender than I thought and offensively he can carry more of a scoring load than Napier. He’s a better shooter and a more dynamic scorer. Neither is much of a creator but I like the idea of curry and Baldwin playing together. Baldwin can guard twos and run the offense.

Really love the idea of a Baldwin/Curry backup backcourt.

Since I've given up hope on a title in the Blazers future, I am looking forward to seeing how the bench performs this year.

I've decided to not get too up or down on the regular season (in other words, I don't care about the next few seasons win wise), so this season could be fun to see development.

Yeah fuck it, but I think there’s still another move left.

I would love to see one of our rookies/young guys take a role though. I think Trent and Baldwin are prime candidates.

After watching that video, it might be amusing to see Curry and CJ on the floor at the same time... to see who can actually shoot more, dribble the most and pass less.

Forgive me, but did my boy Evan Turner fall off the rotation?

Curry isn't really a guy who pounds the ball.

Shouldn’t the title to this thread be, “seth CURRY to Portland”?

We should be allowed even a little misplaced excitement.
I thought it should have just said Curry to Portland. That's what that dog Sly would have done.
