You have to like the Shabazz is willing to do all of these drills.
The other lotto guys are in the bleachers watching.
The others theoretically have something to lose
Shabazz was a little underwhelming this year, so he has to prove something
Shabazz could lose A LOT by shooting worse than anticipated (as he shot better than anticipated this season. More team to see consistency in his mechanics or lack of, etc.)
Really doesn't have to prove anything. Other than he is willing to work hard, learn, and just wants to ball.
Its the Lillard effect.
6'4.75 w/o shoes
6'6.25" w/shoes
6'11" wingspan
Is there a link to the official lists so far? Not that I have any idea who most of the guys are, but it would be neat to see their heights.
I wouldn't be upset with Shabazz, if at 10.
That guy calls Carter-Williams "dominant defensively". If that's true, then I want THAT guy. But that's not what I've read elsewhere.
Of notable concern, Shabazz Muhammad was much smaller, measuring just 6-4.75 in socks and 6-6.25 in shoes. He does have a 6-11 wingspan. However, another general manager seemed very troubled by this revelation.
"It's a problem. If you're on the fence about him, this could push you off," the GM said. "As a shot-creator, size matters. Especially with the length of the new wave of small forwards like Paul George. His wingspan helps, but only if he plays defense. And he doesn't."

As a SF but he easily has above average size for a SG.
Ok, I'll stop this nonsense, this is the player we should take: Giannis Adektobu, currently number 20 on nbadraft.net's mock. Hopefully, he wouldn't be unavailable to us by the time of the draft.
This guru: http://hoopsanalyst.com/ hates his game.
C: Portland Trail Blazers: Drafted Damian Lillard in a pick acquired for Gerald Wallace and drafted Meyers Leonard with their pick. A few things bother me about this. The first is getting Lillard for Wallace is a downgrade in talent. That’s never good. The next is both picks are wild reaches. Granted there wasn’t much available here, but they could have done better. Finally, they needed a point guard and Lillard is more of a combo. I don’t see him making the quick transition from small college gunner to starting NBA point guard.
Hoops Analyst on last year's draft. His analysis is pretty awful.
I am not sure someone could give a worse analysis on a player just drafted. No one wonder why a few our posters were so wrong about Lillard. They were probably reading this guys.
I have my doubts that Damian Lillard can become more than a 3rd or 4th guard in the NBA. At best I see him as an instant offense player off a bench who can fill it up and run the offense semi-effectively for short stretches. At worst he’s just a gunner who doesn’t have the passing or defensive chops to get consistent court time. I wouldn’t use a lottery pick on him and I certainly wouldn’t draft him if a player with the upside of Waiters or Wroten were still on the board.
Shooting Guard, huh?Chad Ford @chadfordinsider 22s
Worst shooters from NBA Draft Combine on Thur: Myck Kabongo (32%), Shabazz Muhammad (36%), Andre Roberson (42%)

Clearly an Olshey smokescreen! Nice subterfuge! Here's an even better quote about Lillard from this "expert":I have my doubts that Damian Lillard can become more than a 3rd or 4th guard in the NBA.
