Shaedon to get surgery

Shaedon played 40+ minutes in 11 of 30 games this year. Shaedon led the entire league in minutes played before his injuries surfaced. Now he needs surgery.

Coach Billups had no choice? All the other guards were hurt, so Shaedon had to play the entire game? That makes no sense. The Blazers weren't supposed to be concerned about winning, but Billups demanded his team to give 110% and produce competitive final scores.
My god this is so dumb. So dumb I don’t know where to begin.

You’re complaining Sharpe was playing a ton of minutes and now trying to spin it on Billups?

wow. Injuries happen man. You know what doesn’t make sense? Your cringe post

Thought it might have been a bit much, but people have been advocating to give the youngsters more minutes. Specifically Scoot. I think Shae falls in that category as well. Coach doesn’t know where that line is. That’s why there is a medical staff and then communication is essential. Was Shae feeling pain, but not communicating earlier on? He is quiet. Know one here knows for sure. Can’t just point the finger at the coach. Shae has a man’s body, much like Scoot. I wouldn’t look at either of them and think they couldn’t handle that type of run, honestly.

The Blazers redlined their brand new Ferrari and drove it into the ditch. Shaedon's load management was spinning out of control. If fans can't blame Billups, then who's idea was it to keep the 3rd string Remix kids on the bench?

I was hoping he would come back and end the season on an upswing. He shot a poor 52.4 TS%. His 3pt percentaged dipped by 3 to 33.3%, his 2pt dipped by 10 to 45.7%. He seemed to be totally zoned out many games.

Not exactly an improvement over his rookie year.

It's easy to want to look for someone to blame but in sports injuries happen all the time. We were cursed long before Billups came along.

Whispers that he has to undergo a full torso amputation. He won't have the height to play shooting guard anymore. Going to need to load up on Toradol.

I just asked one of my sons "would you rather have a punch in the gut, or the latest Blazers news...."

Does someone always have to be to blame? Sometimes shit happens.

For example at my work, we bought two identical machines a year apart. the first one had yet to break down. the second one broke down within a month. Both had the same stress and amount of work being performed on them. No fault of anyone's but the manufactures.. I guess, but since they were on full warranty and they send techs in from Italy to repair them, it all worked out. No operator to blame or anything. Just... shit happens.

Also, I would consider redline a full 48 minutes of regular play. Not sure he ever played start to finish did he? I think there is some Billups bias in your opinion bro. :)

Certainly couldn't get hurt doing this...........

Boy you sure got em riled up with that one. You know you could use a little green font every now and again just to let them know you aren't really this off the hook.
Now to an experienced Sarcaster like me it's obvious but you might consider the feelings of these "Fanatic" Fans that actually wear panties and get them all bunched up.

On second thought??? Carry on.

Was his post green font? Didn’t seem like it to me? Either way, not worked up at all. Just disagree that it’s so easy to just blame the coach and that it was wrong of the coach to play him those minutes?

At least 95% of the stuff he posts is absolutely "Green".
Pretty much what I do as well. At least I hope people know that? If they don't they probably have me on Ignore. Might anyway?

Is this green font? lol. I did reply to his post which was countered with the red line post. Hard to see that green font.

Blazers play hard, they're fun to watch, and injuries happen in sports

Do i know what caused Sharpe's injuries? Absolutely not.

I'm merely asking load management questions. "was Shaedon's injury caused by excessive workload? Could Shaedon's injury have been preventable?

In all 11 of Shaedon's team leading 40+ minute games, Sharpe and Chauncey were busting their ass trying to secure a victory, in a season where winning hurts the franchise. During those 11 specific close battle contests, the 4 "other" available wings (Murray, Rupert, Minaya, Wainwright) recieved DNP's or had a whisper of floor time.

If there was a minute management mistake with Sharpe, the Blazers have worked towards correcting the problem. Scoot, for example, has played 1 game of 40+ minutes this season compared to Sharpe's 11.

I now see Coach Brooks waddle over to Billups during games, to let him know when it's time to give a player some rest.

It's a new team adaptation, because Chauncey gets lost when he turns on "Competition mode". Coach Billups had no clue Sharpe was playing entire quarters and halfs without a gatorade break.

Did Shaedon get his surgery yet? He and Scoot are in Indianapolis for All-Star Weekend. He doesn’t look to be physically hindered in any way.
