It’s shear lunacy to think Dame wants to squander away his prime years on a .500 ball club with no hope over teaming with LeBron to win championships... if the opportunity is there you can bet Dame will sign off on it... and he doesn’t care about youDame Lillard has integrity. You don't see that often enough, and almost never when huge sums of money are at stake. Any suggestion of trading Dame is shear lunacy.
Exactly. "What would it take to get Davis?" "What would it take to get Leonard?" "Do we have any interest in Boogie?" "Do we have the assets to get Lillard?" And 100 other similar questions. It's called doing their job, and all 30 teams asked the same damn questions. But, you know, LakersThis is such a non story. BREAKING NEWS MAGIC DISCUSSED TRADING FOR ANTHONY DAVIS! Of course teams will discuss trying to acquire good players on other teams.
Never Lonzo![]()
Compensating for something perhaps?Never LaVar. He would go ape shit if Lonzo was sent to Portland. He would force a trade. If there was ever a person who cared about market size.....it is LaVar
It's sheer lunacy to think you know how exactly he feels. Did you believe LMA when he talked about wanting to be the greatest Blazer ever?
Maybe Dame is the only player in the NBA who isn't a mercenary...or maybe he is just better than most at PR.
There is no path forward that will give Dame a chance to complete for a title in Portland the next 3 years... it’s the sad reality Neil is put this team in... either maximize his trade value now or risk him walking in 3 years... or resign him at 31 years old for 40+ mil perLakers inquiring.... doesn't mean he wants to go there or is getting traded.

I’m with you bro... don’t understand some people. It’s all about the team and the quest for the title... players will always change. And if fans really cared about Dame they would want him to win a title instead of wasting his prime years in this mess Neil has createdIt feels like some people wouldn’t trade Lillard even if it made the team better. Just the emotional attachment many have. I root for the laundry not the player. Maybe I’m a jerk. Of course I like some players more than others but if New Orleans wanted Lillard for A Davis I’ll help him pack.

Would you keep Ball or flip?[/QUOTE
WTF? Collins and Lonzo amazing, serious? If Collins turns out to be "Amazing", than he will be "SPECTACULAR" with Dame.I would love to get Lonzo... him and Collins would be amazing!
I Believd the question was dame for Lonzo.
Are you kidding me... Ball and Collins won’t hit their prime for 5 years... and yes at that time they could dominate... Dame will be 33 making 40+ mil a year... and you hating on Lonzo is ignorant... he is a generational talent, a 6’6” PG who plays defense and has elite passing to make all of his teammates better... stop wanting to hold Dame hostage because you feel you emotional stability depends on him... go get help, it’s kinda creepy tbhWTF? You don't know that.

Lonzo is not a generational talent. Not even close. He may someday be a serviceable starting pg, I’m not opposed to trading CJ, but trading Dame for talent that’s not even close to his is a quick way to be a bottom feeder, by the time Collins and Lonzo are even close to ready to make Portland sort of good, their contracts will be up.Are you kidding me... Lonzo can’t shoot, like at all and none of his other skills are good enough to overcome that, he’s not 6’8 and strong like Simmons, Giannis or Lebron.
Dame was 4th in MVP voting and 1st team all NBA and you want to trade him for Prospects that proven absolutely nothing? There’s a lot of history in the NBA of teams trading stars for packages like that and basically never works out for team trading the star.
I’m all for moves to get better but this one doesn’t and it’s it’s pretty unlikely any of those young guys are ever good enough to replace what Dame is.
I wouldn’t trade Dame if there was a REALISTIC path to success in Portland... unfortunately there isn’t, and he is 28... so instead of waiting and hoping for a miracle in the next 3 years and risk him walking like LMA, I would look to sell at peak value to spead up a rebuild... you live in some fantasy landYou seem to want to get rid of Dame bad Buzzkill. "NeedHelp", look in mirror.
Which is fine to feel that way, but Lonzo Ball is a long ways away from being Good. The Lakers future draft picks would be basically useless because Lebron and Dame would keep them far away from the lottery. Dame is good enough there HAS to be better packages then that.I wouldn’t trade Dame if there was a REALISTIC path to success in Portland... unfortunately there isn’t, and he is 28... so instead of waiting and hoping for a miracle in the next 3 years and risk him walking like LMA, I would look to sell at peak value to spead up a rebuild... you live in some fantasy land
