LOL. While we're excited about Lillard, most of us are being pretty real about him.

National media are all over him now. I don't think Rubio could average 19 in the NBADL with that piss-poor shooting of his.

Where would you rank him right now then among pg's? And no I am not talking about all-time, so unfortunately, you can't put him ahead of Magic or Stockton.

Minne SHOULD beat us. They put in a lot of effort to try to improve, compete, and make some noise.

Portland is rebuilding and has made no effort to deepen the team (despite how easy that would have been). They're not trying to win now. They're trying to build for the future. So I don't feel any pressure for the Blazers to win this game.

Wow, aren't you ignorant. We've never put him that high. But I have seen Pups' fans place Rubio among the greats. I'm not going to waste my time and bother answering your question if you're going to be dumb about it.

As is Lillard by Blazers fans. By the way, I recently heard that everything Lillard touches turns to gold. Is this true?

The only way Blazers fans could overrate Lillard is by pronouncing his new name to be CP3, Jr or giving him the #7. Even the national media is on him for RoY and a longshot All-Star spot. How much more can you pile on to overrate that?

How could I forget my place. After all, we are only in a thread that is titled, "Shit talking with Wolves fans."

See Blake Griffin.

Yes, but when you have four of your top 9-10 guys out, it makes a huge difference.

Love out 4-6 weeks? That sucks for the Wolves.

See Blake Griffin.

So you're saying that the national media is overrating him, not Blazers fans. Gotcha. I think that's highly unlikely, but will grant it's a possibility for someone who doesn't watch every play of his.

It is hard to overate a rookie that is #1 in so many categories.

OMFG. You are a tool. Setting yourself up for a win-win huh? We are missing our 2 best players and we should win against a full strength Blazer squad with a better record than us. :loser:

No Clippers fans do as well.

If Minnesota wants to win 50 games, they better beat the Blazers.

No particular order:

Chris Paul, Deron Williams, Rajon Rondo, Russell Westbrook, Derrick Rose, Tony Parker

so 7th

I'm the tool? You've been saying all along you're better with Love? WTF? Um, okay? Do you even read the garbage you spew?

I acknowledge my homerism, but there's no way I'd trade Lillard for Deron straight-up right now. Then again, I'm factoring age, salary, attitude, etc.

Record at the moment means little. Minne is underachieving, Portland over. That ain't just my opinion. It's based on analyst predictions prior to Game One.

Sixth in my opinion this season, fifth if you don't count LeBron as a point guard.

EDIT: http://bkref.com/tiny/kBnA3 seventh sounds good.

Your query at 17ppg excludes Paul and Rondo, who I'd say are better and their WS rankings agree. Not counting Bron I think 8th is realistic with guys like Jennings/Lawson/Conley right there but Damian arguably better.

And I see you've edited to include Paul at least.

I didn't mean to exclude anyone. I just picked a couple of stats kind of around Damian's.

http://bkref.com/tiny/gwAul Here's Damian among all the players with at least 10 points and 6 assists. Maybe 11th is more realistic.

Honestly, I think Pek, AK and Shved are your three best players. Love is just a stat junkie and Rubio can't shoot to save his life.

Never mind the fact he spent all day saying how they were better off with Love sitting....

Our announcer just said, speaking of Pekovic "he's just got a nose for the ball, or should I say forehead?"

10th. Where do you rank Rickie?

Go Blazers

he's my top-rated backyard wrestler who's also an international icon.

Yo, Minnitrolls,

Do any of you boners still think the Blazers overpaid when they matched for Nic?

Pek can play a bit. Do you think you'll have to max him to keep him?

Do any of you remember what you were told here about Brandon's injuries?

One of you fools wanted us to rank Dame among PG's for you. How much homerism do you see there? How about you rank Rickie for us?

Would you trade Ricky straight up for Dame?

Go Blazers

Fuck you, Pups.

In the words of Sheed...

God bless and goodnight.
