Has someone made a drinking game about Nate?

Like, everytime he says "scrappy" (or a variant of it) in an interview, you take a drink. Or anytime he takes Greg out at the 6 minute mark, drink. Or takes out a player who is hot, drink..or yanks a player who made a mistake and puts back in Blake (who then plays crappy)..take a drink..

Is "crappy" a variation of "scrappy"?

Anyone who made that game would not live to tell about it, due to alcohol poisoning.

KP fell from grace face first.

He knows how to draft but other than that he's pretty mediocre (at best) as a GM.
whatever... reports of his fall from grace are greatly exaggerated. Fans are a fickle bunch so some bitching about management/the coaches/player talent is to be expected. What moves (that you're sure have been available) should he have made? Knowing as little as I do about specific deals he's turned down, I'm very pleased with the overall big picture that he has orchestrated. I'm sure a large percentage of Blazer fans agree with me on this.

What top club could lose 2 of it's 3 top forwards to injury and not miss a beat?

I'd also point out that KP traded for (not drafted) both Roy and Aldridge.

What if KP really does have a bad reputation with the GM's around the league? I'm not saying it's true, but it has been mentioned before. It could just be the gripes of one sour GM (Warkentein) but what if it's true? I find it hard to believe, but the prospect is somewhat concerning.

why? Trades are a function of league business. What leads you to believe it's (at least partially) a popularity contest? Business is conducted all the time between people who don't like or trust each other. They make their deals primarily because of their own self interest.

Maybe there is something to what you're suggesting :dunno: but I do know that it's unlikely that I'll ever truly really know one way or another... I don't let things like that concern me much.

Like I said, I'm not convinced it's the case. It's just a theory. People wonder why we haven't made any trades, and this is one possibility. I'm not saying it's the reason.

With that said, humans can be very spiteful. We don't always do what's in our best interest, whether it's in business or in our personal lives. I could very easily see a GM or owner nixing a trade because they don't like the other team, their GM, or their owner.

I get it that Roy wants to play (defend) the 2, that makes sense. But if Nate was seriously considering starting Miller, why the fuck just not start him with Webster? What is it about Miller and Webster that can't work? If we're to start Miller, we need Rudy creating in the second unit anyway.

Sounds like Mac is just looking for a way to justify not changing it, and put it on Roy.

Because Nate has to start Blake. I think Blake has something on him.

Has anyone ever seen a coach cling to a struggling role player so stubbornly before?

Um..you do remember Damon Stoudamire was once a Blazer, right?

I don't think Damon fits the bill of a struggling role player. The dude was making max money. At one time he was a ROY. They were probably playing him because they were hoping to get SOMETHING for their money.

I am sorry but such a game would lead to an increased amount of alcohol poisoning related deaths .

At one time, Juwan Howard was a really good player, but he isn't now. When Cheeks kept Damon in the games well after his descent into suckage.

Yeah, but Juwan isn't making 80 million over 5 :)
