For those of you that answer yes, please explain why. Not that he was a great guy, but really why.

I voted yes because I just think Roy has done more than many already retired. He's a blazer and should have stayed one; retiring and going out with a positive with that Dallas game.
Doesn't rank in the top 10...no where close in most in almost any important category. FYI
I voted yes. According to the established entry level for "Blazer retired numbers", he qualifies. He's arguably the second or third best SG ever on the team (behind Drexler and possibly Paxson and Petrie). He won the sentimental hearts of the fans by lifting us out of the Jailblazer era. Without a doubt, he's one of the team's greats!
No. His career here didnt last long enough.

Have absolutely no business being retired.
This.
Not his fault. He gave it his all. In the end Roy restored the franchise back to it's former greatness (Pre-Jail Blazers).
Yea OK
He's #1 in the most important category: Impact on the franchise. He was the face (and heart) of the team that pulled this franchise out of the smoke and debris that was left after the Jail Blazer roster was burned to the ground. He led a drastically over-achieving young team back to the playoffs two years before anyone had any right to expect, and he did it on bad wheels.Doesn't rank in the top 10...no where close in most in almost any important category. Paxson not retired

13 Dave Twardzik
14 Lionel Hollins
15 Larry Steele

77 Jack Ramsay

But then, I think #10 should be retired, so take that for what it's worth.
I think he means the top list should be, and the bottom list shouldn't...Drexler has no business being retired? Okay lol
Drexler has no business being retired? Okay lol
So you voted that if someone makes a mistake, others should just keep repeating it?I voted yes. According to the established entry level for "Blazer retired numbers", he qualifies. More like a wing in a sports therapy clinic.Name a part of the stadium for him if you want. Roy row or something.
Nope. I'd retire every one of those guys before Roy, and I wouldn't retire any of those guys either. So you think Twardzik , Hollins, Steele, Neal, Gross should have their numbers retired?
On the bigger picture; I wish we only had 2 jerseys retired here: Walton and Drexler. All the rest are honorable mention or ring of fame guys. But that's why Portland is a special place!!!!
As for restored it back to it's former greatness?
