Maybe Dame is just that good? I always thought that Roy carried the fuck out of McMillan. Made him look smarter than he was.

Dame went super saiyan this season, good enough to maybe be first team All-NBA, but without Dame this team is super average.

Super below average.

without Dame this team is super average.

and GS without Curry looks somewhat vulnerable even with 3 other all stars

Spurs without Kawhi were a 7th seed

OKC without Westbrook likely doesn;t make the playoffs

Cavs without James is an average team at best

in other words, most teams without their star player is a skeleton of what they would be.

They had a .500ish record without Dame the past couple years.
You can't really judge just how important a player is by a small amount of missed games. I personally never want to find out. But I will say this, Dame is BY FAR, the most talented player on this team. Ain't close.

I have sensed a slight bit of negativity around here following the loss. Have you noticed any of that, or is it my imagination?

:dunno:
Oh boy! Can we all move there too?
Yeah, I'm getting sick of all this greenery and wild rivers teaming with fish. I'm also getting pretty tired of this damned clean air and looking at that ugly Mt. Hood every day. Is there anything worse than going first to Crown Point on a clear day and looking up the Columbia River gorge followed by a trip to Multnomah Falls?

No, give me acres and acres of brown ground and gray concrete and cars honking and salt corroded cars and either overpriced homes or overpriced trailer houses. Yep, that's the life for me.

1 - Were the Spurs favored in the series?
2 - Did they have home court advantage?
3 - Have they now lost home court advantage?

If the answer to any of these questions is Yes, then he should be fired if their team loses the series.
I call Bull Shit.

Yes. Immediately.

However, I'm seeing a guy who's already been fired, but he's just going through the motions.

Pop just lost 2 opening games....so they should fire him? Spurs lost badly....Blazers lost by 2 pts
A talented coach can lose and an untalented coach can win, because it comes down to the players and the coaches don't control the entire game. They do have a big impact however, and Stotts has shown his deficiencies for years in Portland despite his "success" and Popovich losing means nothing since he's shown to be a great coach. People that want to fire him base it off of years, and get frustrated when the see the sames thing happening again in a singular game. That doesn't mean it's because of a singular game.

Your logic was very good but your conclusion about Stotts seems flawed to me.

Let's remember that Terry is barely......barely.....above .500 in his time with Portland. 6 years, and he's barely above a winning record.

That's not a long-term coach that I want on this team. Paul and Neil have some serious decisions to make this off-season.

Yeah, but how much of that is because teams plan on Dame being there and their defensive schemes are changed because of it?

I think without Dame we are in that 21-28 win club.
Yikes, you're a harsh judge. Do you hang people for stealing a loaf of bread?

Would be no need to register pedophiles and make them knock on doors if we went back to these public square shame boxes...people would get to chuck rotten tomatoes at them too!

No way, my wife would be pelting me day and night. No, not for that, get your mind out of the gutter. She'd have me locked in one of those things for saying I'm gonna do something and then not doing it.

Bump....

I'm wondering if anyone else is going to jump on the wagon
