Hence the smiley face. Not even possible.
Would we end up with another 1000-post OT thread if I were to suggest that one might hypothetically obtain greater insight on this question by inquiring of ones socio-economically disadvantaged young male acquaintances?

Glad you appreciated that; I really should have used this meme for that post though...

A 9 game win streak is not the time to bitch and complain.Bump! Nurkic didn't play when the game was on the line in the 4th... again! I know most will say it was just because Ed was having a good game although it's not like Nurkic was having a shit game. If Nurkic is truly one of you big core guys he needs to be playing in big time minutes.
23 year olds who get double doubles in 20 minutes get resigned.Bump! Nurkic didn't play when the game was on the line in the 4th... again! I'm not bitching and complaining, just stating a fact.A 9 game win streak is not the time to bitch and complain.
You said he needs to play big time minutes. That shit does not matter. We're a team. We do what it takes to win. Sometimes, Nurk finishes the game, sometimes he doesn't. Nurk is our third best player. Ed is our best player off the bench. Sometimes, he finishes games. Sometimes, Nurk does.I'm not bitching and complaining, just stating a fact.

Kid looks good my only worry is he is 6’9” and only 195. Meaning needs to gain like 25-30lbs of muscle if he wants to compete at a high level and that doesn’t just happen overnight. I mean aminu is not the biggest guy in the world and even he’s 220. So this kid would have to be a 3-5 year project at least. Idk if that is really what we need even though he’s at a position of need and looks talented enough.
Like i said in the game thread: Ed isout hustling him, every Time Ed is on the court he brings energy and is fighting for the ball, Nurkic doesn't do that cause he is a euro flopper. I like Ed 1000 Time more than Nurkic, Nurkic better step up his Game, because Ed right now is better than him
Agree. And in this very game, Nurk forced a jump ball through determination and will 2 times. Ed and Nurk both worked their ass off in this win. This shouldn't turn into an Ed vs. Nurk debate. They both played well against GSW and we need them both. They are both very important to this team's success.

yes it should and I will make it sure it does! Im officially on a crusade against Terry Stotts and Ed Davis! This shouldn't turn into an Ed vs. Nurk debate. They both played well against GSW and we need them both. They are both very important to this team's success.

Tell you what...here's all the centers on rookie contracts (or just off of them) in the league right now. Tell me which one or two you'd rather have/pay for the next 4 years entering their prime than Nurk (non Top-5 pick category)...
Bender, Porltl, Sabonis, Papagiannis, Maker, Zizic, Labissiere, Cauley-Stein, Kaminsky, Myles Turner, Hernangomez, Capela, Len, Noel, Olynyk, Nogiuera, Plumlee, DIeng
Aside from top 5 picks (Davis, Embiid, KAT, Porzingis, Boogie), which we famously haven't had since LMA/Oden, we've struck on one of the best centers of the generation. And we can keep him if we want.
And even if we did let him go (let's even go so far as to assume we get a 1st-round pick somewhere between 6 and 26 for him), the chances that we find a consistent, two-way, legit-7' center entering his prime as productive as Nurkic already is in the draft is very slim.
I'm ok with paying him. I'm ok with paying him a bit of a premium.
Rofl, buddy is one of the least controversial regulars here. The only thing you get from Blacklisting him is a denial of worthwhile information:I have you on my blacklist now
We'll save you a seat at the next Forum Bash.My daughter, who is becoming a huge Blazers fan, said something that really made sense. "I just want THIS TEAM, as it is now, to stay together, and grow". I loved it. Even I am seeing the chemistry, and love growing with these players. They care for one another. It's a brotherhood. In this era of Superteams, and let's get good immediately, it's a breath of fresh air to be patient, and see a young team ascend. My daughter is making her decision tonight between Oregon and Oregon State universities. I am a super proud dad, and this Blazer team has brought us even closer together. I'm hoping to make the move back to Oregon from Colorado next year. Oregon is calling me home. And the ability to watch this team with her is something I will be forever grateful for. Go Blazers!!
