No, it's money time and he completely folded, as you said, not for one game, for an entire playoffs.
A guy with such a 'Loser' label isn't worth a package like CJ, Boucher and picks. If you were the gm you'd get fired for this trade
In 8 years of playoffs cj, which I like, has only 1 year where his advanced playoffs stats were better than Simmons stats in this last playoffs.

Ben Simmons playoffs were better this year than cj's, so...

People get hung up on the fact that the guy passed up some shots and was horrendous from the free throw line but neglect to mention that he was putting up 12 ppg on 62 fg%, 9 apg with only 2 topg and 8 rpg while locking down anyone they asked him to and playing great team defense as well. This is him at his worst.

Judging a guy solely on a 12 game run would be more crazy... don't you think?
Those 12 games shows if a player can arise to the occasion of big games and he couldn't do that. Plus teams going use those games how to play Simmons.

How can teams use those 12 games as a model when he was clearly shook and shot 20% lower at the line than he ever has. Also let me say again, he wasn't a liability. He shot 6 free throws a game making two of them... that made him a liability on two possessions a game.

While that happened he put up 12/9/8 with just 2 turnovers, getting a steal and a block and locking down whoever they put on him... that's what he did on average during this supposedly cataclysmic 12 game stretch.

Didn't Philly loose that series due to there supposed to be there 2nd best player couldn't play down the stretch.

For their season, Simmons was their 3rd highest scorer at just 14 points a game. He might be their 2nd best player but they should not be relying on him down the stretch to score. That should be Harris and Embiid, or Curry.

I believe it was just one game where they sat him because of free-throw shooting. That can be easily fixed.

Agree. But you will always find something to talk bad about him (even if evidenced are spare).

Ive been to Toronto many times and when I come home to Portland its like going to Medford from Portland. or to Beavercreek

Toronto is the Nicest major city i've ever been too. I prefer midsize cities like Portland & Denver, but Toronto is a beautiful city, with a great zoo & museums.

I wonder, could it turn into a 3 way trade with Portland, Toronto and Philadelphia?

Maybe....CJ and DJJ to the Raptors, re-signed Trent and Siakim to the 76ers, Simmons and Seth Curry to Portland?

yes I know the #'s wouldn't match up, that's not the point

I truly wish people would stop talking about bringing in the diva that isn't even communicating with his team that would bolt from Portland in a NY Minute... You know, the one who needs a shrink to build confidence to shoot a ball that he's been shooting with the wrong hand?

HE SUCKS.... IDGAF what else he does. He's scared to dunk on Trae Young... Jesus...

Why the fuck should the Sixers get CJ, Boucher and Picks for Ben fucking Simmons after one of the worst playoff performances of all time?
I wouldn't trade neither CJ nor Boucher for him, not to mention both plus picks... that's crazy!

It's Toronto who needs picks. People saying the picks should go to PHI are not making sense. It's TOR that would be rebuilding.
They need picks and young players.

Cj and djj for siakim. They can then deal with phili on the side, as a separate trade and get thier picks that way.
