He mostly had spot up shooters and lob threats, not guys that could create their own.
Did it really matter? Harden plays iso ball anyway.

It does if were talking about his ball domination. He has a lot of guys that need shots created for them.Did it really matter? Harden plays iso ball anyway.
Better.
But seriously, I didn’t notice much of a difference offensively (I don’t think we need to talk about defense. CJ is objectively Portland’s worst defender) Guys were getting good looks, the only difference is they started making them in the second half. And the Pacers are a solid defensive team.
I wonder how much better we’d look if Turner got launched into the sun. If he’s still around next year, he better not be in the rotation.
I actually dislike how much I dislike ET; that's how much I dislike him.
It sucks that we don’t have anyone better to run the second unit. Curry is a shooting guard in a point guards body. That should be a priority this offseason. Find a playmaker. Guys like Teodosic and Rondo for example.

Rondo in the second unit would be great.
There was a stretch in the 4th quarter that was horrible offensively. We definitely missed CJ during that time.Better.

Holy shit Jake fall to 32% 3point Shooting Wtf?

well, he did come into the season averaging 24% on three's. Small sample size, but still, it was an indicator. He only shot 36% from the college 3 point line and that was on 547 attempts so there was no sample size issue. It's possible he won't be a good 3 point shooter.
I don't hate the guy but his poor decisions/execution on passes is amazing to watch sometimes. The only time he seems to complete a pass is if his teammate makes a circus-like one-handed catch that requires elite athleticism.I actually dislike how much I dislike ET; that's how much I dislike him.
Can’t blame Hood/Kanter/Olshey/Stotts for Layman missing open shots.I think the addition of Hood and especially Enes really had him struggling to adjust. He needs the paint to be open and the ball to be swinging around for him to find his groove.
So 24 assists last night, which is a little over 1 more than we average, and we held them 8 points lower than their average.
Better ball movement
Better defense
Someone wise said that might happen

Well if true, that’s a major weakness in his game at it will cost him a chance at a big contract this summer. The issue is that he is not getting them in the same kind of way he did before - he is a rhythm player - he needs the movement to get in the groove - and with the interior congested - he does not get it - so he basically becomes a 3pt spot shooter - and that's unfortunately, not his game.
He needs to adjust, but this is 100% the reason for his recent struggles.

That's your retort?Yeah our defense looked great in the 1st quarter........

I may be getting too old for sarcasm directed at meOh you were serious? I thought you were being sarcastic. I didn't think anyone who watched the beginning of the 1st quarter and the end of the 4th quarter (times of the game CJ always plays) could possibly think that the defense and ball movement was an improvement.
did you know that Evan Turner will make more money from his Portland contract than Clyde Drexler and Terry Porter made in their entire careers?
or that Turner + Festus Ezeli will make more from their Portland contracts than Clyde Drexler, Terry Porter, and Jerome Kersey made in their entire careers?
or that Turner + Ezeli + the one year in Portland for Allen Crabbe made more money than Drexler, Porter, Kersey, and Buck Williams made in their careers.
or that if you made $75,000/year it would only take you 2,600 years to earn as much as Crabbe, Turner, Meyers, and Ezeli will make from the contracts Olshey gave them in 2016. If you started when you were 25 and worked till you were 2,625, and you got 2 weeks of vacation a year but only took one, when you were 2625 years old you'd have 50 years of vacation saved
nope...I'm not feeling sorry for any NBA player any time soon
Yeah but who actually has to live on a measly $75,000 a year? C'mon at least be a little reasonable in the accounting.did you know that Evan Turner will make more money from his Portland contract than Clyde Drexler and Terry Porter made in their entire careers?
