lol wish there was one.
Take it for what it’s worth but I have…a source that is about as close to the situation as you could be without talking directly to Jrue or his immediate family. Or agent I guess
Not trying to convince anyone…but that’s the truth

I don't think you're corrected. He said that Jimmy was a big part of wanting to go there, but like.... duh. Jimmy and Bam were the two All-Stars on the team. Some posters were saying that Dame wanted to play with Jimmy, and I'm sure that's correct, but he wasn't the MAIN reason. That's not what Dame said anyway. Jimmy was A reason. But I'm sure Bam was also a main reason. Spo was a big reason, etc.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Are you blazing the nug right now?

Lol I kid.

If I'm Giannis, I'd ask out of Milwaukee, if winning is what I want. Turner is not gunna help him win a championship. The Bucks have no flexibility in the immediate future with 23k on the books for a player that isn't on the team

If he was gonna ask out he should have done before the draft or before free agency. Pretty cruel to recruit Turner, he agrees to sign, they stretch Dame $113 million, then demand out on July 1.

Grant/Williams/Murray and as many 1sts it takes. Trade for Giannis, sign Dame for the min. Sign Walker. Extend Camara.

Scoot/Jrue/Dame
Shae/Camara/Rupert
Deni/Thybulle/Camara
Giannis/Walker/Rupert
Clingan/Reath/Walker/Yang

from reports I read, he is unhappy with the Bucks waiving Dame. So in a way, him recruiting Turner (if true) backfired because he did not realize it would come at the cost of Dame. They have trent jr, porter jr, prince, kuzma, portis. . Not necessarily a championship team.

1. Dame was asked about why he wanted to play in Miami. He could have said Bam or Spo or to get away from his divorce. He didn't, though. He gave one reason: His relationship with Jimmy Butler. Unless you're trying to go down the rabbit hole of debating the meaning of "is," that's about as close as you can get to a declaration. He gave one reason.

2. Jimmy Butler, not Bam, took to social media to tell the NBA to investigate the Bucks for tampering when the Dame trade happened. That's kind of unusual for being just another guy that was part of the equation.

3. Illmatic was the one that jumped on a pretty mundane post speculating that Dame might want to go to Golden State now and declared absolutely that it was widely known that Bam was the main reason Dame wanted to be with the Heat and the second reason was Dame's divorce and it "had little to do with Jimmy" (Ill's own words). So, Nate, was he correct? You yourself are admitting Butler was at least A reason, and Dame's quote suggests strongly Butler was a very big reason.

This is what happens when people want a narrative to be so true that they twist themselves into a pretzel. You're both arguing with Dame himself about what he wanted from his direct quote and you are arguing with the poster you're trying to defend that said he was off-base, posting that he said something he didn't say.

If he and his agent didn't realize there's a salary cap thats on them. Like why they hell would Dame being injured the next 12 months change anything either way with the Bucks season?

If he desperately wants to play with Dame I think Dame can sign with another team this season then go back to the Bucks next year.

Seems more likely that's a report to try and save face with his friend Dame.

Your honor, I rest my case.

No future too because we have all their picks for a guy they waived two years later lmao

4. I didn’t realize you took this topic so seriously and I really don’t care that much about why Dame wanted to go to Miami. I’m just really not that interested in getting into a big debate about it with you.

Ever think that Dame doesn't WANT to come back? Some baggage back here, you know.
yeah, I don't think the scorched earth tact he took was about planning his eventual return or that management appreciated it much either. I'd put the chances of him being a PTB with this management at zero

STOMP

Interesting. You took it so seriously that you jumped into a conversation that didn't include you to jump to the defense of a guy clearly taking a lap, and you took it seriously enough to post that you didn't take it seriously ... and then you look foolish and now suddenly you don't want to have a debate. I'm sure no one saw that coming.

Really? You don’t remember our debates from two years ago? Yeah… I’m known around here for just letting shit go. That’s me!

And the fact that you think an innocuous post about Dames motivations makes me look foolish…. Well…. Whatever dude. You win! Congrats!

I don't know you but you're on fire today

Warriors are washed. I can't see it.
Nor can i see the Lakers, that's the one team that would tarnish him in Portland forever IMO but i've been wrong before.
Lakers aren't washed. Lebron is a freak of nature and is still amazing. Luka is a top 5 player in the league. Reaves might be better than any guards that we have. Dame fits well with LeBron.

Dame will rehab this year and then sign a vet min with San Antonio. He'll play Big Shot Bob for a young team and get a ring.

F' OKC!
