Well he did grow up there. I mean most are saying it's about the players involved but that is also his hometown area.I bet that's where he ends up.
And if nobody wins both of you own each other $100.Ok, if I win, @SlyPokerDog owes me 100 dollars. If you win, @THE HCP owes me 100 dollars.
But you see lillard has one of the very best work ethic attitudes out there. It's been said nobody works harder than Lillard. That is exactly the kind of thing young players need to see. they need to see a perennial All Star player that has nothing to prove to anyone working every day as hard as he possibly can to get back.he gets all the benefit from rehabbing paid for by a team instead of out of pocket

You know as well as everyone else right now Lillard thinks he will get back on the court. Damian Lillard will not be denied and that is exactly why he should be allowed to rehab at the PF in front of the current team.
Thanks. I've just always viewed him as a professional and we all know he's going to try to get back on the court at some point.Absolutely fantastic point.

We already have that in Jrue.So keep him around to mentor the young guards and rehab. See where we're at during the deadline and he's closer to returning. Have the verbal agreement that if he wants to go elsewhere at the deadline, we'll trade him there or by him out. That's no downside, it does him a solid, has him around the team as a great vet for a young locker room.
Don't you get it? Dame is cursed never to win a title. Any team who signs him acquires the curse.Would be amusing if he goes to the Celtics and they win again next year when Tatum and Lillard are back - it would be a replay of the Jrue moving to Boston from Milwaukee (via PDX)
It would be like watching those Legends games that they used to have at All-Star weekend, but stopped because one of them inevitably got injured.Well Draymon, Steph, Kerr and Stotts are all close to dame. I could see it. Fans would go nuts
One of Mikes sources is Jason Quick. They are very close. In today's episode of the Locked on Pod, Richman's has a source "very close to Lillard" saying that he wants to come back to Portland. Mike rarely speaks this directly about a source or someone close to the situation. (He isn't Marang...). That's why I tend to give him credit here.
Does Richman mean Dame wants to come back to rehab in Portland or actually sign a contract with the Blazers? In today's episode of the Locked on Pod, Richman's has a source "very close to Lillard" saying that he wants to come back to Portland. You caught that. Nice. I figured it would go unappreciated. How do I own someone $100 bucks, asking for a smart ass.
Can you link Pod? Thanks
Luka made it work with KyrieThe Lakers signing him makes no sense, tbh.
By the time he comes back, LeBron will be a year older (if not in his full on retirement tour), Luka is the ball dominant guard, and what role would Damian have?
He'll be a Warrior, win a championship there with Steph Dray Jimmy and Terry, sign with the Blazers and win a championship here before retiringImagine dame wants to be as close as possible to his kids
Yeah imagine the disaster our roster would be right now if we didn't have any of that and had a supermax Dame instead. An unprotected pick, 2 swaps, and both our starting forwards for Dame and Nurk is an excellent haul.
