Damian Lillard too. Guess we should trade him.
Yeah, because those two guys are like twins when it comes to work ethic and long term health.

It’s time those Simmons fan boys, and you know who you are, come out and admit their love from Simmons was a bad call with how things have played out with the Nets.
stay the heck away from Simmons at all costs, he has lost so much respect from fans and NBA players and now back surgery he is just digging himself into a bigger hole.
You never say anything in a good way.If you really think that, then I think you need help lol. Saying that in a good way
It doesn't shock me that much that some posters still consider Ben. 'If' he can get back to where he was just a season ago before one Playoff series, he is a bigger talent at areas of need than Portland could get anywhere else for anywhere close to the price.
If he was uninjured, and back to being mentally strong, it would take way more than what we have to give.
With risk, comes possible rewards. But there is no guarantee, and that is what some fans seem to want. That is fine, but that type of guaranteed talent isn't available to the Blazers.
Yep and lots of folks said Kawhi was quite possibly done at the time and to absolutely not trade CJ++++ for him. I remember it well.People criticized Olshey for not taking risks. This is a risk that would drastically improve our team if it paid off. Look at Kawhi in 2018. He sat out most of the 17-18 season even though his teammates believed he could play. The Raptors took a risk and traded their best player for one year of Kawhi and ended up winning the 2019 title.
100%Ben Simmons is one of the most unique players in the league and would give us something most teams don't have. A 6-11 guy who can play the point and play the best man to man defense we've ever seen. All that is enough to not write him off completely. I'd still rather roll the dice on him than someone safer like Jerami Grant.
