Sloan salutes Kidd

Stockton played until he was 41. One of his best seasons was 1995-96, during which he turned 34. Stockton averaged 14.7 points and 11.2 assists. Kidd will turn 34 next month, and is enjoying one of his finest years.</div>

Great to see a coach like Jerry Sloan say good things about JKidd.

When Sloan puts you in the same category as Stockton, then you know you're good. It doesn't matter what others say, because he coached one of the greatest point guards', so his opinion counts the most.

Sloan considers Kidd one of the greats, and that's great to hear. Kidd hasn't been getting a lot of compliments, so when it comes from Coach Sloan, it feels good.
