As for the Nets roster, I couldn't care less about stars. The bench is certainly better and they look like a team that will actually be able to play some defense. However, the roster is still very flawed and the chance for respectability rest squarely on how quickly Brook Lopez can become better than a sub 50% shooting college 7 footer projects to be.</div>
I can't disagree with that, which is why I am advocating that the Nets acquire another center. Again, I think that the upside of their season arc is what the Sixers accomplished last year: a flawed, poor start, followed by gradual improvement as their young players started to mesh, and a final rush into the playoffs.

Now that I disagree with. I have a lot of faith and confidence in him; especially since he is now surrounded by better outside shooters. Just think about how terrible Kidd, Boki, Marcus Williams, Malik Allen, Krstic, and to a certain extent RJ were last year. They've all been replaced by better, morre consistent shooters. They are all going to flourish playing with Carter . . . I guess we'll see, though.
