So much for the Maynor experiment

Very happy with what I'm seeing from Maynor tonight. 8 assists already in the third quarter.

Does it make sense now, that Maynor played better after having some time to practice with the team and learn the offense?

I was at the game, I agree with Shooter, Maynor sucks! End this miserable experiment NOW!

No! No! Say it ain't so!!

No. I said that in the first two games his performance has been disappointing, which I daresay is the feeling of everyone around here. I'm also hoping he is the answer, and I hope his play begins to improve, starting tonight. But I see no reason why I can't offer my impressions after two games.
Well, hes more impressive at the PG position than Nolan Smith, SHIT!!

What website shows the PER of an individual game?

“That’s what he is, what you saw tonight is what E. Maynor is,” Wesley Matthews said after the win. “He’s a pass first, pass second point guard almost to a fault. He’ll get into the paint and you think he’s gonna flip up a floater, but he’s always got his head up and looking for his teammates and that’s something that’s so valuable in this league.”

Pass first AND a pass second point guard? Holy shit! I didn't know those existed.

Maynor is the answer until he has a bad game.

Then, he's horrible, until his next good game. Except for those who have already given up on him. He'll always be horrible. Until he's not.

PER GAME. I want to know what his PER was for his last game.

That's what I was talking about. Sites have one game's PER only if it's the 1st game of the season or with a new team.

For other stats (not PER), some sites allow sorting by month. So after the 1st game of the month, I plugged numbers into NBA.com's new PIE stat, which at all other times of the month is unverifiable.

I think you meant "There's no such thing as a dumb question. But there is such a thing as a dumb thread." If you're going to offer insults on your first visit, at least get your grammar straight.

I literally had someone at work ask me why I was listening to the Jim Rome theme on my phone when Lust for life was playing. I informed him that it was Lust for Life by Iggy Pop. He questioned who Iggy Pop was and I explained he used to play with the Stooges and was told I knew nothing about what I was talking about because there was never an Iggy in the three Stooges.

I disagree wholeheartedly with there is no such thing as a stupid question

You are definitely a better english teacher. You should stick to that.
Maynor is averaging 9.7 points, 6.3 assists and 2.0 rebounds per game, while shooting 55 percent from the field.

I will if you promise to come to all my classes and pay close attention. You definitely need some remedial work.

This thread was premature. The guy hasn't wrecked his knees yet.

Shouldn't that all be one sentence?

"There's no such thing as a dumb question, but there is such a thing as a dumb thread."

I don't like starting sentences with "but" :devilwink:
