What CJ lacks compared to Wes is made up for by basically being prime Brandon Roy without the assists.

At the All-Star break, the Blazers will only have 28 games remaining. That means they would have played 54. 20 wins at the All-Star break gives them a Lotto-like record of a measly 20-34.....no big deal. No Bet.
We blasted the Warriors and Clippers (even though we lost that game) and you guys said it was just preseason which it WAS but if you are PAYING ATTENTION, we are better in every aspect of the game this year. MUCH MUCH better offensively. MUCH better defensively. And all this crap about how we only have one quality NBA starter?? Well, guess what? CJ McCollum says FUCK YOU!! Yes, I know the Pelicans made their run which happens all the time in this league but we learned from the Clippers game and pushed back and got our first win of the year. We are FOR REAL. Only 20-30 wins this season? What the FUCK am I missing? I'm not just being a homer. If I thought our team sucked, I would say so. But the team I saw tonight is world's better than last year's crew. And we don't even have Henderson or Alexander. We're deep as hell.
I agree this team as currently constructed is better with CJ than with "Post-Injury Maxed Out Wes".Wes held back CJ. We are much better without Wes.
It's too bad Olshey wasn't able to bag Monroe, i tell ya...
No. He just knows SO much more than the rest of us. It's so obvious to me now. He is to basketball IQ what the Kardashians are to anal bleaching

I still give the team around 30 wins. I'm not changing my prediction. It's a long 82 game season and we are not even 10 games in.
You thought we would beat the Grizzlies (who normally have our number regardless) on the 2nd night of a back to back?I predicted 32. We still need to beat one of the teams that I thought we'd lose to.

I picked 33 and I not ready to budge it either but Grizzlies were definitely one of the losses in my book. Surprised if you say otherwise
YepIt's weird at how hard Mediocre Man is working to make sure that he is only happy when the Blazers lose.

I see Detroit as an easy win. San Antonio too because it's at home. The 4 game road trip will be challenging but we should be able to split it.

You see Detroit as an easy win? You mean the Detroit that just handily beat the Suns on their floor? The team that beat us twice in two nights? The team that's 4-1? That Detroit?
That's because it's not about the team, or the game; it's about him being right when other fans on the forum are wrong. And that means he has to be happy when they lose; it's the only time the fans are wrong.
Yes. You know it doesn't work that way. Just because they beat Phoenix and Phoenix beat us doesn't mean they're better than us. We have the size to neutralize Drummond and they have zero answer for Dame and CJ. Plus, we're at home. I expect a 15-20 point win.You see Detroit as an easy win? But so has Monroe....Drummond has absolutely exploded since Monroe left. He might be another hickson
We rolled over Minnesota, Utah, and Memphis and we'll roll over Detroit. Get out of our way!! Go Blazers!!lol, people are going a bit crazy here.
We're a nice team at the moment, we are trying to contend for a playoffs spot.
We're not a juggernaut waiting to run over every .500 team because we're hot shit and they're minor league amateurs.

Woohoo! Yep, it was evident when we killed Golden State in preseason. Who cares that it didn't count? We played as a TEAM and I was like "whoa." Stotts is obviously a great coach and Dame is a peerless leader. Like you said, we're only going get better.God, I love you! Blazers are beasts this year!!
We're ALREADY playing well as a unit, imagine how it's going to be as this team gels together even more, and some of these players develop more! So many people are stuck on getting a pick but are forgetting that this team is young, will grow together, and have set a great starting point to doing so. I think vying for a pick with this team is greatly over-rated. GO BLAZERS!!!! Yeeeeeeeeeeee!
