Last I heard he tore his Achilles playing pickup ball at UW. How would he feel about rejoining the organization in some capacity now that the cancerous tumor is gone? Rumor is they never really got along. He's only 30 so he would be really young for an assistant coach, but the team as a whole is really young. The only guy older than him would be Kaman, and he's pretty much a big man coach at this point. I know him and Allen probably didn't split on the best terms, but if LeBron and Gilbert can make up, I'm sure Roy and Allen could as well.

Who knows, I'm bored. Neil needs to make a move...

He's in Washington mentoring his old college team and shown 0 interest in the Blazers organization. Maybe the Wolves will give him another shot

Read this the other day while looking for information on a Hornets forum

Anyways, I ran into him here [Miami; private airport] and I immediately approached him to shake his hand. Brandon was as cool as the other side of the pillow. He gave me a firm handshake and a genuine smile. Roy definitely appeared to be quite appreciative that he wasn't forgotten yet. Sensing that thought, I told him what he had accomplished a massive amount in his 7-8 year career. I then brought up that Maverick playoff game as a prime example and he chuckled. Greatness, no matter how short it is, stays imprinted in one's mind after witnessing it.

We proceeded to talk about Basketball and life itself over a drink for about 20 minutes. Brandon still stays close to the game by mentoring youth players but he mentioned it's beyond difficult for him to accept that at age 30 he already has "old man knees". It's painfully obvious that his competitive nature remains alive and well in his facial expressions. Eventually we went our separate ways but before we did he gave me some personal advice and [shockingly] his Beats.

Roy and Lillard are the most chill stars you'll ever see, yet miraculously Aldridge had a problem with both of them. Strange.
