only guy I can think of who's available is Aaron Brooks and he's RFA I think

have Sessions and Augustin signed, and is Bayless out there?

Sessions, Augustin and Bayless are all gone, and none qualify as the right sort of vet PG imo. All 3 would want playing time. None are really at a point where they'll just accept they'll never be a starter again in the league.

Is Mike Bibby an option? Derek Fisher? Barbosa?

I think Calderon still wants traded even though the Raps did not land Nash.

What about a combo-guard like Shannon Brown?

IIRC he's a RFA.

I would like him and he is listed as UFA on NBA's website. I had him on my list, but then took him off because he is a combo guard.

Is Shannon Brown even a combo guard? I did not think he could play any point. Barbosa would not be bad.

Worse case scenario we may have to wait until teams make those final cuts in the fall. Often someone who is playing well in the summer league gets a invite but does not make a team. Or they could accept an invite from Portland knowing our obvious lack of depth there.

Barbosa would be a good one if available though.

If we're looking for a mentor - (UFA) Fisher is still available.

My guess is that Fisher has been around Phil Jackson too long and will only consider a championship contender. And by contender I mean top 4 in the league.

Aaron Brooks, Jonny Flynn, Nate Robinson, Delonte West?

I said weeks ago I would go after Delonte West. Not sure how he fits in with the rest of the team off the court. I know that is a factor with Olshey. But as far as skills on the court, he plays tough.

They need somebody who is a contrast with Lillard ... to me that means more of a facilitator/defender type guy. No idea who fits the bill however; whatever happens will probably end up coming via trade.

I say Delonte or OJ Mayo.

Mayo said he wants to try and establish some PG skills... I'd be willing to give him a 1 year deal with our leftover cap space.

Lillard/Mayo/Nolan
Wes/Elliot/Barton/Mayo
Batum/Claver/Babbitt/Barton
Aldridge/Hickson/Freeland
Meyers?/Freeland?/Hickson?

Delonte West is a strong defender and a better facilitator than Aaron Brooks.

Delonte is certified bat-shit crazy, so there's that, but I like his game.

I'd rather have Brooks than West. I don't want LeBron's mom coming to our games.

I don't think Brooks would be happy with his limited minutes off the bench behind a rookie. I think he would pout, although he may have matured some after his stint in China.

I thought Phoenix rescinded the qualifying offer to Brooks so they could make the Dracic trade. I think that makes Brooks a UFA.

Have you guys ever looked into Aaron Brooks numbers? 5 assists to 3 TO's when he was a starter...

Delonte is crazy, but is talented, didn't cause issues with Dallas, and its okay to have one shaky character amongst a bunch of other stand up guys. I'm kind of tired of us only having a bunch of pussies on the team, anyway.

Bo is interesting. One tweet says there is no buy out and another says his Euro team wants 2 million.
