So what's next for the roster

Sign me, I can play back up PG...give me a mill and I'll score 20 a game

Brandon Bass

As much as it sucks to say this....

Just tank the season 76ers style and hope for a top 3 pick.

OKC reportedly shopping PJIII for cheap. Very talented but a knee injury cost him and he's never really recovered. Still has talent, just needs to figure it out.

We don't know what we have except at PG.

McCollum could bust out.

Aminu could take the next step.

Vonleh could reach his potential.

Nards could continue to improve.

Plumlee could become another version of Lopez.

There's a lot of potential on this roster. We'll see how much of it pans out.

Best keep as much cap space as possible, see who pans out and use it to fill in the pieces that don't.

Grab him, what the hell.

Probably what's next on the agenda would be the fans struggling to pick new players to hate on...that's my prediction. I like every guy we have so far.

Honestly the only FAs left that somewhat interest me are Kanter, Jordan Hill, and Cory Joseph. I like Gerald Green too but I can't see Olshey signing him.

The more likely scenario is a trade.

Plumlee starts at the 5..Leonard at the 4..Kaman and Davis come off the bench. Vonleh plugs in for either position and probably finishes games after Kaman is gassed

I only see one real option for this roster this year. They have to suck to protect their first round draft pick and they're well positioned to do just that. It won't take much, all they have to do is give Lillard the ball and let him chuck it up 25 times a game with 2 or 3 defenders on him at all times and then let all of these other unproven types get a baptism by fire.

The only question I have is do we win more than 25 games in a stacked Western Conference?

Can this team win a single game if Lillard gets injured?

We only have 3 players in the backcourt. We need a Shooting Guard.

I wonder what Paul Allen thinks of all this. I suspect an awful lot of Neil Olshey's time and effort the past year has been spent buttering up Allen to prepare him for this moment.

Sure, as long as we win about 80 percent of our games against the East.

They do all seem like nice guys. So we can compete in likeability, at least.

If every Blazers averages what they did last year, where are the points going to come from?

Dame - 21.0
CJ - - - - 6.8
Meyers - 5.9
Davis - - 8.3
Aminu - 5.6
Plums -- 8.7
Vonleh - 3.3
Kaman - 8.6
Hendo - 12.1
Crabbe - 3.3
Frazier - 4.6
Totals - 78.2

There will be a couple more additions and we would all expect several of those players to have increases in playing time and production. What do you estimate will be the player averages by the end of the season?

I'll bet Damian averages about 24 a game on 40% shooting (maybe even lower) I guess Meyers is probably going to get about 8 or 9 per game and CJ will probably score about 14 per game. I have no idea about the rest.

I'd think a lot of new acquisitions will put up higher numbers in Stotts system. A lot of them deferred to vets with their last team and some didn't play much.

I know he's a rfa but why don't we just swing for the fences and offer Tristan Thompson a max deal? The worst that happens is CLE matches and we're back at square one. I'd rather gamble some more than to settle for Hibbert or Kanter.

Ooh, ooh! I know the answer to this one! Because he's not worth it. The worst that could happen is that we actually get him for that ridiculous sum.
