So what's next for the roster

I know he's a rfa but why don't we just swing for the fences and offer Tristan Thompson a max deal? The worst that happens is CLE matches and we're back at square one. I'd rather gamble some more than to settle for Hibbert or Kanter.

We already have Thompson on our team. His name is Ed Davis.

Ooh, ooh! I know the answer to this one! Because he's not worth it. The worst that could happen is that we actually get him for that ridiculous sum.

Well, that... and that fact that he already signed with Cleveland!

I think there's a trade waiting to happen but I forgot about one important thing. Who are we going to trade?

Who knows... crapspace, young guys, Kaman/Henderson, etc.!? The real question, is: Who's the target?

If every Blazers averages what they did last year, where are the points going to come from?

Dame - 21.0
CJ - - - - 6.8
Meyers - 5.9
Davis - - 8.3
Aminu - 5.6
Plums -- 8.7
Vonleh - 3.3
Kaman - 8.6
Hendo - 12.1
Crabbe - 3.3
Frazier - 4.6
Totals - 78.2

There will be a couple more additions and we would all expect several of those players to have increases in playing time and production. What do you estimate will be the player averages by the end of the season?
Dame 25
Plumlee 13
CJ 13
Meyers 12
Hendo 10
Davis 8
Aminu 8

I'd think a lot of new acquisitions will put up higher numbers in Stotts system. A lot of them deferred to vets with their last team and some didn't play much.
Agreed. You can't predict future performance on past results. Everyone's role will expand and these young bench players from other teams will blossom.

I'd bring back Wright is he's interested in mentoring this group. We have a hole at the wing. With Dame, CJ, Hendo, Crabbe, Pat, Frazier I think we're fine in the backcourt. Give Wright a big raise and nonguaranteed in year2 for a trade chip.

I'd actually do the same with Mo Williams if he is interested in watching young players. Great locker room guy. But if he wants regular minutes let him go elsewhere

DWright is my choice for a guy to sign who will come in and compete. I like his game and he's not super expensive, has a good leadership quality to help young guys and Dame love him

I know the majority of Blazer fans hate him but I don't...Jamal Crawford is a lights out 3 pt shooter and a free agent. Multiple 6 man of the year awards and Stotts is a coach who could put his talents to good use. You want a volume scorer at the 2, he's that guy

I'd try to get Terence Ross from Toronto since they just gave Demarre Carroll that fat contract

Lakers are already getting him
I'd like to think Bird remembers how Olshey handled the FA period for Hibbert a few years ago and I'd hope Bird will want to only work with Olshey if Hibbert is going anywhere

Right now our starters should be: Lillard - Henderson - Aminu - Davis - Plumlee
with bench of CJ - ?? - Vonleh - Leonard.

I would hope for a chance to let Vonleh and Leonard crack the starting lineup asap. They need controlled PT, but as much as they can handle.

Crabbe

Crabbe should get some good burn this year. Find out if he can be a bench player or not

It's done. They are only sorting out the details.
