why would it get changed? the chemistry is devloping with our current starters, plus Swift doesn't know any of our sets yet really.
he's going to most likely, for the rest of the season, in limited minutes be our big man with energy off the bench. He may be getting more minutes earlier due to Nenad getting into the swing of things.

Nothing in my mind says it would change. If anything Swift will battle Magloire and Malik (ok maybe just malik) for bench status. Krstic automatically well get some minutes here and there, but untill Frank wants to play Krstic lots of minutes, all that will change is Swift will get to battle for bench minutes.

Josh Boone will start because he's a player with a future.

Swift CAN be effective off the bench, if he is motivated and the offense is to his liking.

In the first five games under Tony Barone last season, he averaged 30 minutes, 15.4 points, 7.2 rebounds, 1.8 blocks and shot 57.1%, including games of 26 points and 14 rebounds. Then, as usual, he got hurt and sat 11 games.

The one advantage he has is that he has wanted to play in NJ since 2005. NJ was his first choice as a free agent back then. When the Nets went with SAR, he went to Houston, a horrible fit since Van Gundy doesn't exactly run the best run-and-gun offense in the NBA.

The one disadvantage he has is that Lawrence Frank has shown exactly zero enthusiasm for this trade and instead lamented the loss of Jason Collins...who he hadn't played significant minutes in a month.

The bigger question is if, when and how Krstic fits. He needs a game where the team looks for him and gets him some open shots, unlike the other night when he didn't touch the ball for 2:45.
