Something is brewing

So this thread based on someone thinking a team with 25mm to spend, needing 3 more players has something brewing?

Cateful, that limb is WAY out there :)
25 mil is a ton of money. More than any other team right now.

I keep saying were going after a RFA or two. Last years offer sheets by Parsons, Hayward, etc didn't leak until a day or so before the moratorium ended. That's by design. Give the other team as little amount of time as possible to maneuver around to keep the player.

And yet, there are people in this thread who disagree with me :dunno:

lol

so? besides a couple RFA's that we might offer and they can be matched there s little out there to sign
You don't have to sign just free agents to spend that money buddy. Look what Neil did with Just 9mil 2 years ago

Duh! but I frankly don't expect any "major" moves that will significantly alter the course of this season, maybe we can collect a pick or too or decent prospect for teams dumping contracts

I don't think anyone is expecting anything that will alter the season. That being said, offering kanter the max would qualify as pretty major. I still don't know if I'm for it or not though. Probably leaning towards the why not camp lol

same here

Someone mentioned that the way Neil responded, he had a little Vulcan in him. Didn't someone get fired for a comment like that?

How many teams can even afford to offer kanter a max (or something near it) right now outside of Portland? Orlando? Philly? Neither one would go after kanter, so why hasn't he re-signed yet?

Somewhere I read that since the Rockets are using the MLE, the Blazers have to top $5.5 mil/year to make it so Houston is unable to match. $5.6 mil/year it is. LOL

What would we even give them? I'd give up anyone but Lillard but would sac do it? Leonard, CJ and what?
Crabbe is a local favorite in Sac I believe he played for Cal in the Pac 12..for Boogie I'd give up Meyers Kaman and Crabbe

Hahahah cal is in Berkeley not Sacramento and that offer would be laughed at.

I for one am expecting Neil to give us a better team, and record, than last season's team.

Pretty sure that's what he was hired to do.

They're waiting for wed night then they're gonna give kanter the max and mcdaniels 30 mil. Oh wait, that's just what I'm hoping for lol
Man, that would make us an interesting bunch.

Haha you guys are thinking about cousins? Lololol

Sac wouldn't even budge with the package lakers offered and that was extremely fair that included Randall, Clarkson, #2 pick etc

BARE MINIMUM we would need to start with Dame for Sac to even answer the phone. And they can kiss my ass for that deal..

Cj, Meyers, Vonleh for cousins?? Hahahah yea right

Maybe it wasn't Cal...maybe Cal State? I know he played in Northern California..Berkley is about an hour from Sacramento anyway
