Rasual Butler for sure! Needle mover!
do we really know that was his favorite coach?Maybe it's just me. But they just fired his favorite coach and our team just fell a part. I would definately be thinking ahead if I was Olshey.
Yeah. Now that you figure it, where are we hearing this? And besides, I think a newly married player who's starting a family might want to stay put. Now that I think about it. But who knows with modern athletes?do we really know that was his favorite coach?
Kanter?
Poison-pill'ing KJ McDaniels?
And I see 2017 might be a little bit more interesting...http://www.spotrac.com/nba/free-agents/2017/I don't know what there is out there he can do. I was thinking he was just going to save the cap space for next year but then I noticed there are only two interesting UFA's out there and we are not getting Kevin Durant. That leaves Mike Conley. And since there is not much out there, why does any team have much incentive to dump a bad contract on us and give us a draft pick? Or especially to give us a good median aged player for space and junk? So now all i can think of is saving the cap space for 2017, and i don't even know who is available then?

Seriously, if you got those three players then we could make the playoffs this season and most likely contend by next season.Throw in a trade for McLemore and I'm sold.
I for one am expecting Neil to give us a better team, and record, than last season's team.
Pretty sure that's what he was hired to do.

There are still quite a few teams who can offer KJ more than Houston can afford. They all seem to be waiting until the last minute. Is this to make it more difficult on Houston? Anyways it seems like KJ is on everyone's radar.
Sure but his agent will probably go with the highest bid/most potential playing time. No one can match Portland there. That is if Olshey is interested. Which he fucking should be.
Kerr did it with Gentry. Doc did it with Thibbs, Every great franchise had a great defensive coordinator on the staff. We really don't.
). Maybe they can hire someone away.My bad, you're right, but Gentry has a defensive skillset as well. Thibbs, Laimbeer..my number 1 and number 2 choices to start.Ron Adams, you mean. Gentry was their offensive assistant.
If the Blazers can find a great defensive mind, that would be great. An unemployed one doesn't spring to mind, though (other than Thibodeau, of course, but...yeah). Maybe they can hire someone away.
Sure as long as we are offering 10-20 million per. But isn't that a little high?
In the 7 mil range KJ would have options. How much did you want to pay him?
Is KJ really that much better than Alonzo Gee though? Gee is a very good defender too, athletic...
Every time I saw him play in Houston, his shot was wet. And no, I didn't only watch him play our team.McDaniels is another wing that can't shoot
Stotts is Not. Swayed.
