Since 1950 16 pitchers have won & lost 20 games in a season during there careers. And of those 16 only 2 of them did it in the same season. Wilbur Wood (1973 = 24-20) and Phil Niekro (1979 = 21-20)
6 pitchers since 1950 have lost 20 or more games in a season more then once, Murry Dickson, Roger Craig, Al Jackson, Dick Ellsworth, Wilbur Wood & Phil Niekro.
On 3 occasions a team had two 20 game looses in the same season, 1962 (Mets), 1965 (Mets) & the 1973 (White sox).
Since 1950 the 20 loss mark has been reached 43 times. 1950s (11), 1960s (16), 1970s (14), & only once in 1980 & the last time being 2003.
To finish this up seeing how this feat (20 loses) in a season has only been reached twice in the last 35 years & none since 2003, I really don't see this happening again. Especially the 20-20 (same season) club. There's just not enough starts anymore.
