Yes -- Heart of the Sunrise

King Crimson -- I Talk to the Wind

"I Talk to the Wind" --- Definitely one of the most underrated bands of our time... so keeping with the King Crimson theme...

Touch The Sky</div>

Touch the Sky, was never really a fan of Gold digger

Keep Ya Head Up - Tupac

Life Goes On - Tupac

Life Goes On is probably my favourite by Pac, I'll take it.

How You Remind Me - Nickelback

vs.

Somewhere Out There - Our Lady Peace

How you remind me - Nickelback

My Sacrifice - Creed

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting BC:</div><div class="quote_post">Bohemian Rhapsody

Mary Jane's Last Dance- Tom Petty vs. Dani California- RHCP</div>

Dani California - As for the song's similarities, I'm not a believer in the conspiracy theories. If you really want to argue it though, I can.

The Electric Prunes - I Had Too Much To Dream

vs.

The Crazy World of Arthur Brown - Fire

^ If anyone doesn't know those songs and this thread gets kind of dead after a while, just skip it, but I'm leaving that match out there just incase someone on JBB's up on their classic rock.

IHTMTD, definetely.

Dredg - Off The Room
vs.
Dredg - Sanzen

^ If anyone doesn't know those tracks either, then damn it, you people listen to horrible music.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Sasha:</div><div class="quote_post">^ If anyone doesn't know those tracks either, then damn it, you people listen to horrible music.</div>

I don't want to start an arguement, but holding my tounge has never been my style. Quoted comment makes it seem like you listen to music for all the wrong reasons.

Here's a tough one for ya'.

Venus - Beautiful Days
<font color=""SandyBrown"">vs.</font>
Venus - Mother's Voice

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting purehoops:</div><div class="quote_post">I don't want to start an arguement, but holding my tounge has never been my style. Quoted comment makes it seem like you listen to music for all the wrong reasons.</div>
I was being sarcastic bro, settle down.

Beautiful Day wins because that's the only song I can track down, next to Red Room. BTW M Two One, hasn't Gavin packed on a few? Ha.

John Frusciante - The World's Edge
vs.
John Frusciante - What I Saw

Tough one, partly because John Frusciante = God...I'll go with The World's Edge though...

RHCP - Suck My Kiss
vs.
RHCP - Give it Away

Give It Away

Biggie - Who Shot Ya

2Pac - Hit Em Up

I figured nobody could answer mine.

Yeah, but he used to be really fat way back. I'm not surprised if he heads backwards and hopefully the music will as well.

Their new album kinda sucks btw. It's a complete selling of the soul. You don't go from writing a complete album about Dream Caused by the Flight of a Bumblebee around a Pomegranate a Second Before Awakening and then write about cheesy crap like "I spit shine my corroded halo and packaged it away." I mean who were they trying to kid with that type of crap? I'm hoping for a return to the good days when it was heaven to see them live. You listen to Venus or the Doves?

I agree, CWA was as well not put together in terms of thematic value either.
I have only heard Beautiful Day by Venus and I never paid much attention to the Doves. You may wanna recommend some tracks...

Snap Yo Fingaz definetely. I love that song.

Anthony & The Johnsons - Bird Gehrl
vs.
Cat Power - I Found A Reason

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Sasha:</div><div class="quote_post">I never paid much attention to the Doves. You may wanna recommend some tracks...</div>

I'm sure M Two One will have a lot more recommendations, but from what little I've heard, "Black and White Town" and "Catch the Sun" are very infectious. They both caught a bit of radio play here in the states a while back, and I haven't taken them off of my active playlist since.

Probably "I Found A Reason", but to be honest, I'm not a fan of either. I much prefer the original "I Found A Reason" by the Velvet Underground, and I think she butchered it, but then again, I can't stand the vocals on any of Antony and the Johnsons' material. It's just a horrible match for the instrumental part of the song.

TV on the Radio - Staring at the Sun

vs.

Kasabian - LSF
