I understand that but that the dude did and the way he slithered out of getting his ass beat in he first place was a very bad performance.
Yeah it was also really dumb of some of those other pro wrestlers to tell Rampage's son that they'd let him go in the ring during the dude's match and get him back for it... and the guy who ultimately got beat up really bad seemed to agree to it.

Obviously none of them thought Rampage's son would hurt the guy who started it that badly. The weird thing to me is that they'd tell the Raja (Rampage's son) who isn't a pro wrestler, that he could get back at the guy in the ring.

Just a lot of bad choices, obviously Raja Jackson made the worst choices but a lot of people set that up to be a disaster, including the dude who ended up in the hospital and started it. According to Rampage he's monitoring the situation and the guy who started it is awake and stable. He'll be able to make the decision whether or not to press charges.

Again just a bad situation all around.

What are you guys talking about?

The wrestler made a mistake. He thought the kid was in on everything and apologized for trying to do a work with him. They even seemed to be fine about it. Saying he "started it" is trying to justify the absolutely abhorrent behavior that took place afterwards.

The stream egged on the kid to get his revenge.

Going in and hitting another person over and over and over again isn't cool. The wrestler didnt deserve that whatsoever.

I got an Aaron Hernandez vibe from the entire incident.

Not sure who you are referring to but when i say deserved the first hit? I should clarify. That was the body slam, which knocked him out. After that, its attempted murder, or could be a case for. With a post maul rant that is seriously crazy.

I'll tell you what I'm talking about. Obviously Raja Jackson made a terrible decision that I can't really understand. That being said, he was about to kick the guy's ass for smashing that can into the side of his head, then the pro wrestlers told him, "Just get him back for it in the ring." The dude whose ass he was about to kick agreed to this.

If Raja Jackson were a pro wrestler then this might have been all well and good but he's currently an amateur mma fighter. What happened once he got into the ring was inexcusable, he slammed the guy down on his head much like his dad has done in a few mma matches, then with the guy unconscious punches him more than a dozen times in the face and head. Crazy stuff.

I do have a question of why no one pulled him off a lot quicker. Once they did pull him off it did look like they were trying to exact some revenge themselves. Then we get him raging on the street, which seemed mostly about what happened after he about killed the guy and got mobbed by the other pro wrestlers.

My observation is that there were a lot of bad decisions that set Raja up to make the worst decision he probably could have. I honestly don't know if Raja thought he was supposed to be pretending to kick the guy's ass or actually kicking the guy's ass. It's not an excuse but that seemed like a pretty confusing situation and I still can't understand why people didn't pull him off of that dude sooner.

Show me where the guy that got his ass handed to him in the ring agreed to any of that.

There was no confusion in this event.

The fact anyone is sticking up for the kid in anyway is absolutely bonkers.

Shitty situation. If he was told he could really hit Smith and it doesn't appear there was an official present to stop him, then the blame goes to Kick and the event and promoters.

It's their job to keep these things like this from happening.

The kid needs some therapy and some strict guidance at least. It's tough for me to think he should be legally or financially responsible unless there has been a pattern of violence.

No. The blame goes to the kid.

The event/promoters/Kick had nothing to do with a trained mma fighter pummeling a guy 25 times.

The guy was an idiot telling him to get a receipt, even still, a receipt in wrestling talk isn't what transpired in anyway.

He could have killed that man. How can you say he isn't liable in anyway? This wasn't self defense. Its bonkers.

That's a standard wrestling trick. You crush the can with your hand as you fake hitting them in the head.

How can you say that when Raja was specifically told they will set it up for Raja to get back at the wrestler in the ring?

Is there film of Raja being told what can and cant be done in the ring??? Hell yeah the promotor who let him in the ring is also at fault. Was Raja trained as an acting wrestler?

To not put some blame on the guy who said he could go in the ring is very one sided…

Those were a bunch of old wrestling grinders. If Raja didn't know that shit is an act, he shouldn't have been near that ring. Sure, one body slam, but 25 shots to the head?!?

No matter if he was let in the ring or not, that doesn't justify punching someone in the head that is unconscious 20 times. The person committing the act of punching a guy in the head like that is MOST liable in this situation. Period. If you watch his stream it appears premeditated too that he was planning on pummeling the guy on purpose.

He also is a trained fighter. Which means he has more responsibility than someone who isnt a trained fighter.

Wait now. You are saying then that the promotor should not have asked him to be clear that he knows its fake after Raja says multiple times he don't play like that?

The reverse could be said too the promotor had no business letting Raja near or in the ring without confirming his intentions and making sure Raja knows its all fake???

not buying that at all.

I never once said it was justified.
But to not put some blame on the promotor who let an untrained acting wrestler in the ring without making sure the intentions were clear is criminal in its own regard. To say the promotor has no fault in this is not being fair at all.

Hook line and sinker......go back and look how fake the whole thing was starting with the body slam. Also, the shots to the head were fake pull forearm. SMH

If it was a sanctioned event it's up to the event to keep people safe. If guys are fighting things can go too far.

I didn't say he's not responsible in any way.

There should have been no possible way for him to punch an indefensible person 20 times.

Guys get pissed in these events and lose their cool. If there is a history of doing these kinds of things he should be more severely punished. If not, I think therapy and strict guidance are in order.

He should be severely punished because he is a trained fighter. What happens next time he does this and there isnt anyone to try to pull him off?

There should never be an event in which there is nobody to pull him off.

If he does this to somebody outside of an event he should obviously be punished severely.

Therapy and psych exam should give you a pretty good idea of what needs to happen with him.

So you’re saying it’s wrestling WWF. But nobody informed the kid?

It was a misunderstanding at first. The wrestler thought the kid was a part of the show. He realized shortly after he wasn't and apologized a bunch of times.

Just so you know, along with everything else I've said I agree with this. I wasn't making excuses but was trying to add the context that other people made some bad decisions here... I don't think that includes the victim.

Most importantly it looks like a vicious assault and you are right, that's on Raja. So if the victim ends up pressing charges then Raja should be prosecuted and if the victim ends up filing a civil suit then Raja should be on the hook for whatever the judgment is.

I don't think anyone should have told Raja he could hit the victim but that doesn't absolve Raja. I do think someone should have pulled Raja off of the victim right away, that was a long time for a bunch of adults in the wrestling industry to let that go on. Again this doesn't have anything to do with Raja's culpability because he's fully culpable for his own actions but if the victim is going the civil rout, he should probably name the promotion as a secondary party to his damages.

Pretty much what i’m saying too. Raja should be brought up on charges, but he isn't the only one in the wrong here….

I'm certainly open to charging the kid if he was made aware and was acting in premeditated malice.

But whoever was putting on the event and those who wound him up should be severely punished.

It was premeditated attempted murder.

There is culpability and liability charges to be had for the promoters.

Dude needs to go to jail for a long time. This was a planned "spot" but that was also a planned beat down. With intent and viciousness, he should be going away for a long time.

It will seriously depend on how Syko Stu wants it to go. I think if he presses charges then Raja's life as he knew it will be over and he'll spend a long time in prison.

Stu could also get a settlement from Rampage for who knows how much money, with something signed that says Raja will go to anger management counseling and then Stu tells the cops that it was a pro wrestling misunderstanding.

The fact that Raja hasn't been arrested yet with enough evidence in the public for it to be an open and shut case of premeditated attempted murder, is strange. If Stu or his family if he is incapacitated was/were cooperating there would have already been an indictment and there's no way they'd slow roll the arrest considering it's a violent crime.

Weird stuff.
