Went disc golfing this morning at Dabney. A couple weeks ago I lost a disc on 14 in a new wet area created by the Parks inability to put drainage in the road/rock placement.
But have no fear...I already a new disc of the same model in my cart. Today, I lost that disc in the same ******* area.

This is not really sports but. .

A 23-year-old Starbucks barista at Portland International Airport was arrested Tuesday morning after what police described as a "gratuity blow-up" that disrupted terminal traffic.

Witnesses say the barista had just prepared a $47 order of lattes, breakfast sandwiches, and pastries for a family rushing to catch a flight. When they declined to tip on the payment screen, she allegedly shouted, "You'll drop hundreds on plane tickets but nothing for the person keeping you awake?"

When the customers tried to grab their order and leave, police say she hurled a hot latte across the counter, splashing onto one traveler's carry-on bag. She then vaulted over the counter and blocked the exit, demanding they add a tip before boarding.

Airport police arrived within minutes and arrested her on charges of assault and disorderly conduct.

The meltdown caused such a backup in the concourse that TSA briefly closed one checkpoint, delaying multiple flights by nearly 20 minutes.

I'm becoming less accepting of tipping culture. When I spend six or seven bucks per coffee on four or five coffees I expect that place to be paying a decent wage.

I dont mind tipping, I hate the direct and indirect ways they are doing to tip shame and also guilt you into tipping more.

I.e. now it starts at 18% instead of 10%. On the screen itll do that, and its sad. People should be making decent wage but instead have leaned all the way into tipping culture.

But then again, this country couldnt give a shit about the human being, but thats for another thread.

Kenny Easley, the former hard-hitting Seahawks safety and member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, has died at the age of 66.

Was running around town and decided to walk lloyd center mall. Good timing. There was an event for guitar makers and musicians( I am a musician) and a big card show in the main hall from the rink to the East end of the mall. Mostly pokeman and other cards i dont understand, but a few sports cards tables.
It was on one of the merchants tables as i was walking by scanning and it popped out at me.
I almost picked it up, but it wasn't graded.

Ah, yes. I’ve been to that show. I think they pop up every few weeks there. That card can be had for far less on eBay. Not that $5 is all that much anyway.
