SPORTS WEB LINKS

No offense my friend but you really don't need all of them. The 2nd & 3rd ones are two of the 7 I supplied in the other thread. And the ESPN.go.com is also a great site to check the boxscores. The others are really not necessary. Also as I mention you need to find a permanent location for these links. I suggested they be put on the front main page where it says "Site news, interactions" I suggest that location because what if your on another teams board or a differant sports team board, they have to come back to the Yankees site to find the links? I just think it should be put in a spot where EVERY poster knows where it is. And also why you need to add the other sport references & sport salaries that I supplied in the other link. But that's up to you guys.

,,,thanx messiah...I assume we have to keep using that "sticky" to keep near the top of the page?

Yes, that would keep it at the top for easy viewing. The game threads can be unstuck once the games are completed.

Rick, I actually disagree... i think all of these are useful, and I'm glad they are here. just saying

How can you disagree, I'm never wrong. I thought I was once but I was mistaken. Okay All kidding aside, alright then just add the other links that I posted also. I mean if ALL the sports are here then you should have all the 4 major sports references & maybe even the salary sites (though not as important). And I still think they should be on the front (welcome page) of this site. So everyone will know where they are. But that's just me.

I can stare all day at the baseball-reference hall of fame site link.......

Oh what I would give to spend 4 days in Cooperstown. it's been 4 and 1/2 decades, since I smelled the bliss of those Hallowed Halls.

this past summer my wife, son and I (along with my sister and niece) were in NJ going to the Cake Boss bakery and afterwards noticed we were in close proximity to the Yogi Berra Mueseum. I had always wanted to go so I pushed for us to go. not knowing what my son was going to make of it. He is a baseball fan but has the attention span most 10 year old have, limited.

But he really enjoyed himself, he spent time reading and asking questions. This led me to think, hey maybe he isn't too young to take up to Cooperstown, so we made the journey upstate.

HE LOVED IT.
Shocked us all

Outstanding to hear! He will probably remember both the Berra Museum and Cooperstown all his life, until he to takes his kids to the Hallowed Halls. Kudos-Al, your a good Dad. Any kid who has his Dad take him to these Iconic Museums is truly blessed.
