Bron - 18/10/18 and a loss
Wade played decent, bosh played like crap. It actually surprises me how close the game was.

What an awesome game. So much intensity on every possession and it could have gone either way. Oh and shoot the ball, Lebron!

Actually wasn't that one of Bosh's better games? He has not been too impressive. Not sure he will play better.

He scored 13, but took 16 shots to get there, and he hung around the 3 point line all night. I think he was 0 for 4 from three. Only five boards, except for getting some steals that were borderline fouls, he was doggie dodo.

Oh I don't think he played well, I just think it was one of his better games in the playoffs. So I am not sure they can count on him playing any better. Especially inside against the Spurs.

also.... HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA

The Spurs were a bit rusty; they'll pick it up in Game 2.

:devilwink:

Spoelstra needs to start off Bosh in the post at the start of Game 2. Make Duncan actually work a bit on defense instead of floating around the 3-pt line like Matt Bullard without a pure stroke.

Bosh cost Miami this game. Let's see how he responds in Game 2.

Honestly, I'm confused. Bosh was a much better player in the past, but he seems really awful now. I know some say he's injured, but he seems to move decently. He just seems to not care.

I think it just comes down to touches. With Toronto he had plenty of touches to find a rhythm. He was the man. Now he is the third option and he is playing out of position. Not easy for him. Plus I think he was over rated to begin with. He is still good, but not a super star.

Does anyone have a link to a box score that has second chance points?

According to LeBron in the post game press conference, the Spurs somehow had "21 second chance points" but only "6 offensive rebounds."

Aside from all of the LeBron and Heat hate shouldnt we want SAS to win because of what that could mean for the western conference? If the Spurs win then its much more likely that Duncan will retire. And I have heard that when Duncan goes Pop goes. Im not sure if he was serious when he said that but when you combine that with the fact that Manu is "thinking" about retiring you could have a completely different team next year.

AAAAGGGHHHH! So I recorded the game and was going to watch late last night after the FAM was asleep.... Got halfway try the first quarter and fell asleep!!!!! Now I'm on the plane headed to Montreal and was trying to find out what happened. Shit I can't believe I missed the fucking game!

The good guys won.

Go back to siesta.

Heat have lost 5 playoff games
Spurs have lost 2 playoff games and one was in OT

Impressive, Spurs

Are you ready if your number is called? Tracy McGrady: "is a pig's p---y pork?"
Well, that's a colorful phrase. I'm going to try to work that one into a conversation today.

This series needs to go 7.

Yes! I loved it, way more exciting than I thought it would be. The Spurs are just so good in close games. They just don't make mistakes and they're so tough to come back on once they have a lead. Miami is going to have to go into 4th quarters with double digit leads and try to just trade buckets because the Spurs just go into turbo on defense. Great game!!!

This is true. And I would say 80% of that is Tony Parker. He controls the ball and some would even say "over dribbles". But it works. When in doubt they run some ISO plays and he comes through. But the rest of the team does a great job of screening for him, taking his pass, and giving it right back to him. He has been their MVP without a doubt.

I've been underestimating Kawhi Leonard

He's arguably playing better defense on LeBron than Paul George

Let's go 2-0 spurs! I can't believe I'm actually rooting for them?!
