What could go wrong has gone wrong...
oh for sure!LOL. But they’ve done it all to themselves.
This game right here is why I stopped being super into sports.
This kind of extremely frustrating bullshit.
Game is in the bag and that moron fumbles. It's the kind of shit that ruins your night. I'm glad I turned it off.
How do you turn off being super into sports?
Help me I want to do the same
The ducks happened. They do what they always do in big spots.Anyone brave enough to explain what happened? At work I checked the score and saw it was 24-7. I went to check the final score and saw they lost.

Wel theres the part where they couldnt snap the ball multiple times in the red zone. It was the TCU bowl game all over again. Dominate for a half then do every stupid thing you can imagine in the 2nd half. The only part that really matters is that they were leading with 50 seconds left. It was 2nd and like maybe 3? The RB decided to be a hero and kept pushing. Ball popped out. Stanford drove down and kicked a field goal to send it to OT.
Losing the natty to Ohio State did it for me.
Honestly, I looked at how often sports make me miserable, and how often I actually get pure joy out of it. It's extremely unbalanced. I can count the number of times that I have gotten pure joy from sports on one hand. Meanwhile, the number of times it has completely ruined my night is countless.
Why put so much energy into something that makes you unhappy so often?
So the answer is to become more detached and be less invested. Sometimes I watch, sometimes I don't. Yes, if the Blazers or Ducks ever win a championship it would be sweeter if you were 100% invested the whole time, but is it worth your sanity? My wife likes me a lot better now that I'm just in a sour mood because of games like this one.
Ive tried a couple times to stop caring and I keep coming back... Its annoying, its how I got my name. I keep coming back even though it always ends the same just a lot of dissapointment.Your not lying man. I’ve tried my best not to care but it’s hard. I always tell my buddies if I can push a button to make me to literally not give a fuck about the blazers or ducks I would do it in a heart beat. Like you said it’s not worth it and completely unbalanced.

In the Blazers case they win the lottery and get an injury in the same summer...For every one of Dame's shot on Houston, or winning the lottery, there's a hundred blown leads or terrible injuries that ruined your season. It's just completely unbalanced. Add in that we're in Portland, so we don't get free agents like the Lakers, and it's just a bullshit hobby to fall in love with.
