Yeah, IDK who the middle guy in the picture is but he seems to like Vonleh![]()

I said Marc Gasol was a pipe dream.

Yeah, but I only wear beads in places where they can be covered up with a bandoleer or ewok-leather satchel.Mods please change thread title to "aren't you 90% hair wookee?"
Baby bro growin' up quick!“He is like the baby brother around here,’’ Lillard says. “Noah … you just want to wrap your arms around Noah. Everybody loves Noah and you want to see him do so good because he’s such a good dude.’’
He's ready now to start administering beat downs & it's only gonna get worse for the opposition!

This is why I think we trade him before the deadline. He's still on a cheap contract, which makes him easier to move in a package.
I still think we're missing a consistent third scorer in the starting lineup. Maybe it's Vonleh eventually. All things considered, if everyone was healthy and playing to their potential, I'd love to see Dame/CJ/Aminu/Vonleh/Ezeli in the starting lineup with Turner/Crabbe/Harkless/Davis to round out the rotation. I think Plumlee/Meyers could be trade bait.
Video Description: You know how long I waited to do Noah Vonleh highlights last season? I'll tell you: THE ENTIRE FRICKIN' DURATION OF SAID SEASON! He showed some flashes (maybe just one flash, actually) at the end of his tenure with the Hornets, so I thought that a new team, a new atmosphere, and a starting gig would be enough for at least the occasional double-digit game. I was wrong. He scored 11 and 10 in back-to-back games, but other than those outliers, his point totals were represented by a singular character on every boxscore.
So, in a sense, this season is ALREADY more of a success, highlights-wise, than last season. Because check this out: a full one-third of the content I have made for this season is a VonlehVid. And not only is there a surplus of VonlehVids now on my channel, but they are of a superior quality to the average highlight package. The Chris Bosh comparisons so often made before he got drafted have finally manifested themselves as long jumpers and wispy-looking hair doodles. No lame-ass layups to be found here, loser. If you want lame-ass layups, go watch one of the official NBA vids and continue suckling happily on mass-media teat you corporate shill.
You heard me. Go on. GO! Get out of here.

Other than hitting a few open jump shots, and a hook shot. He really didn't show that much offensively. I liked his hustle and what he did on defense. But obviously would like to see more before getting too excited. With that said, think he has made some nice strides from a year ago.

The fact that he -hit- open shots and a hook shot is the exact reason some people are excited.
He wasn't passing up open opportunities like last year. That is a big step in the right direction given his skill set. .

Yeah, I want to see him be consistent before thinking about starting him. He had a couple games last year where he looked great, but most of the time he disappeared into the background. He also got a lot last night pretty easy. I want to see how he reacts when defenses pay attention to him.
How many bigs can hit hook shots with either hand?
I know we need to be patient with his new found confidence, but wow this kid could be fun to watch.
If he keeps this up he'll be scouted and he'll have to adjust again, but this is the version of Noah I was hoping to see.
I only know a few phrases in French. I sure don't know how to type them.Après moi le déluge*
If Vonleh keeps developing his defence, especially inside, it will also open up possibility of us trading for someone like Okafor i.e. someone with brilliant offense in the post but suspect defence. Vonleh + Okafor might be a good match.
