The bolded is literally not anywhere in my post, so don’t know why it’s in quotes as it is not a direct quote.
I said “then you admit you have no idea what you’re talking about” because you literally stated that you need a team of analysts to help you come to that conclusion, which you currently don’t have, so you can’t form an opinion, correct? That’s literally what you wrote. So, tell yourself to go pound sand for writing something that tells on yourself.
And I wasn’t convincing you of any candidates.

I was curious who would make YOU happy. As far as I know, ANY name that is thrown out there would be a “no” or “disappointment” from you — other than Spoelestra (pipe dream imo) and Hammond (who apparently doesn’t respect black people since she couldn’t be bothered to take a knee) since that’s the game we are playing now.

this is why I said, give me 4 candidates who you’d like. And you can’t do it. Which leads me to believe you’d complain about just about anyone while questioning the “knowledge” of our front office — which is justified.

And I’ll go pound something in sand... won’t be my forehead though. I think there’s a drink named after my thoughts :)

Who gives a fuck about Meyers. So you crosschecked the list of users criticizing Meyers and there is now some that support Becky or you are just imagining things?

By the way DeRozan was cool with this..Pop has spoken numerous times about Black Lives Matter and yet didn't take a knee. What you do during national anthem is personal and not connected to your belief in BLM.

“We have no doubt in [what Pop and Hammon believe],” Spurs star DeMar DeRozan said after the game. “Pop speaks out. Becky’s on the front line. She stands for equality. …There’s no need to vilify someone for standing.”
 
And to be clear, I want Becky. But it’s interesting how people change their tune.

Meyers — fuck that guy for taking a knee!
Becky — oh well, it is what it is.

This is NOT a justification for hiring Billups or Kidd.

An inquiry as to why the tune changes from one person to another (Meyers to Becky)

You’re getting very emotional about this. It’s a simple question. Why cancel Meyers but not even mention it about Becky?

And you know DeRozan was cool with it because.... it commanded a newsworthy story.

And, for what it’s worth, I don’t care about sit, stand, finger your butthole during the anthem.

simply curious why our fan base is suddenly forgiving about that?

also if you go on Twitter you’ve got a section of blazers Twitter railing on Hammond for this exact reason.
 
Just FYI, it appears that Spoelstra and Williams both make around$3 mil. Stotts was making $5 mil. That's a pretty hefty difference!

you didn't ask me who I thought the GM's office had as the 4 leading candidates....just who I'd list as the 4 best. I came up with a couple of names and commented on the two names, Kidd and Billups, that are getting the most traction in discussion here

as to other names, I haven't really thought about, much, nor do I care that much at this point to be honest. One thing I'm extremely skeptical of is that some poster with a list of 4 names knows more about what should be than a poster with a list of two names

and in that, you'd be wrong. The only two I have registered any objections to are the two coaches who have eighter beat their wife, or paid a settlemnet in a rape case. I don't know, maybe my standards for past behavior are too high. I don't give a shit about the national anthem

as for anybody else hired as HC, I'll wait and see how they do in the first season, including playoffs. I didn't call for Stotts to be fired till about the last 15 months or so. I'll be patient with a new coach. My patience with the GM was exhausted in 2016

Yea, I read the post. It mentioned Kidd's championship experience. I wanted to put that experience into perspective compared with the championship experience if our most recent coach.

If I hadn't read the post I wouldn't have made the comparison.

I ask this question....do you know for a fact if any person here was saying "fuck Meyers" and turning around and excusing Pop and Hammon? If the same person is doing both, yeah hypocrite

but if it was Joe Blow saying "fuck Meyers" and Chuck Suck saying "Hammon gets a pass" that's not the same person condemning one and excusing another

It's how I expect Lillard, who is our team leader, to be. And he has never shown me anything to think otherwise. I'm not trying for a perfect world.

If we can't get a great coach we shouldn't have made a change. If we could have gotten a great coach years ago and didn't we screwed up.
That's what I've been saying all along.

Neither Kidd or Billups is a great coach. If we had to settle for one I'd pick Billups by a mile. But I'd be disappointed.
