The Blazers home opener and NBA League Pass shows the Rockets broadcast! I had to shut off the sound, those babbling idiots were driving me batshit. I wanted so much to see Mike & Mike, the pregame ceremonies, et al.

If anyone has a video or DVD of the Blazers broadcast, I'd be willing to make a good offer for it.

I generally like it when I get the other team's broadcasters. They're usually about as ridiculous as ours, but slanted for the other team. Somehow I just find it more enjoyable.

I live in Houston, so it was on local tv. The Houston announcers are some of the worst announcers in the league. Sadly, I was thinking they were actually better than last year. It was a treat not to have to hear Clyde though.

Although I found it interesting that they could easily recognize that the run we went on in the second quarter started when Miller came in. Everybody seems to be able to see it except .......

Don't say it!!!!!!!! For your own safety, never question what he who shall not be named does.

I say it..

I couldn't believe Nate. To quote a famous NBA anouncer "He is Hooooorible";How in the hell we blow a 20 points lead. Houston went small and we stayed big. After the penetration our bigs were left on an island had to foul at the rim. He should have gone small with Howard, LA and Webster in the 3rd. We won due to our talent not because of our coaching. The Rockets are garbage.

Well, here we go again.

By the way, it's always nice to have another rational fan in the forums.

Agreed. I generally know what our positives are, so hearing the negatives from the opposing announcers is a real treat. I think the best group I've ever heard was a couple years ago with Kevin Calabro and Snapper Jones. Jones was free of the Blazers and had let go of the bitterness he felt.

Today, my favorite group is the Clippers team. Ralph Lawler is a really good PBP guy. They come well-informed and are fair-minded.

If you all are done attacking Nate and KP, does anyone have a tape of the game?

It's available on NBA League Pass Broadband, free trial for the next week, in the archive section

Having league pass last year, I'm used to other announcers, but these guys were whining the whole game. It is going to be a long season for them.

Did you watch all the way til the end of the Broadcast? My boy working on the Houston show put me in the final rollout! (that's what we call all the highlights going off the air) He said I was up there for a few seconds!

The Houston announcers were such whiners. They were actually talking to the officials to review a 3-pointer. Total bush league.

No. I turned it off after the game was over. I didn't feel the need to listen to their broadcasters any longer, and besides, your wife kept bugging me to "give it to me again before I have to go home".

Cool that you were on tv though. Do that enough this yera and you will have your 15 minutes of fame in no time.

Archive is fine to watch but I don't really want to sit glued to the computer - if anyone has a recording, please?
