We'll sign a couple two way contracts...not sure who..Caleb will probably spend most of the season in the G league unless they bring in a big man coach to work with his post game

The 5 scrubs look like a summer league team. The starters and Simons and Trent look like a team.

The first 7 is loaded from a SL standpoint. Collins anchors the defense, Biggie gets rebounds, Layman and Trent spread the floor, Jenkins doesn't make mistakes, Simons figures out ways to score and Baldwin orchestrates like a master conductor.

Layman another solid game. Zach totally dominate the inside on defense still struggling with mask on offensive. Baldwin another good game on both ends. Simons best overall game on both ends he got 20 tonight. Gary struggle a little bit on his shot but did another solid job on defense. Swanigan got 10 boards but the rest of his is really suffering.

Good game. This is probably the least sloppy basketball I have ever seen in Summer League. Olshey has his misses, just like every other GM, but he picks some really good ones as well. Trent and Simon's look great. Even LayLay is starting to look good. Collins is a defensive beast. And Baldwin looks fantastic.

Swanigan looks like a mistake. But, you can't win them all.

He's not going to make the leap sophomore season...they'll give him until next year to crack the rotation if he ups his game...Olshey already said Caleb has to improve on offense and with post moves...he's a rebounder though...give him that

Play the winner of Miami/Boston next. On Saturday?

Caleb has bust written all over him. I'll still root for him too improve though. He could still prove me wrong.

but really we've said that about most of our guys entering the second season...Barton, Connaughton, Layman, etc....the kid is a project but a really good rebounder

What a lame ass game thread. You should of seen all the Hoop knowledge being thrown around in the REAL game thread! There’s even some stats and a poll!

Doesn’t excuse his butterfinger turnovers and a complete lack of explosion, play strength, and lateral movement.
turnovers aren't a parameter for a young player...lot of great players turn the ball over a lot....Harden, CP3, Steve Nash all turned the ball over because they attempted risky passes...also this roster doesn't have the history to have chemistry yet...know where they need the ball, etc....he made up for it rebounding. Sure he made some mistakes.....it's summer league
