He's trying to expand his game, using SL as a vehicle. He's shown to be a very good passer. The problem is that right now he is a better turneroverer. That could change with practice.

Summer league is a hard barometer to judge players. Coaches ask you to do certain things you normally don’t. Your opponents do things they might not normally do. A lot of guys are playing to make a team. There is a lot of disjointed basketball going on. It would be interesting to hear what the Blazer coaches fee about Swannigan this summer, maybe he’s doing the things they want him too?
