Maybe they had to work last minute on a Blazers video, but had a laker's video prepared far ahead of time.I actually thought he might be having a stroke at the end but I think they were supposed to play a video and he got stuck trying to stall before it played.
I liked your post but I do think Jake shot consistently at the end. He was 4-5 tonight and 2-3 last night.
I had a hard time finding his totals, but from what I can remember he had one horrible 1st half shooting night against Boston and the rest of the time he shot very well. Not exactly a go to guy, but at least he can spread the floor, and put the ball on the floor and attack the rim quickly. And his Perimeter D looks solid.
Coming off of a double overtime win over the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Lakers’ legs just weren’t there on Tuesday and it showed in their shooting numbers. As a team, the Lakers shot an abysmal 39.1 percent from the field including a lowly 14.3 percent from behind the arc.
Not even summer league MVP Josh Hart could fight through fatigue, going 0-6 from the three-point line just over 24 hours removed from pouring on 37 points on the Cavs in the semifinals.
Had the Lakers sent their second-year players Lonzo Ball and Kyle Kuzma, perhaps this game would have ended differently, but Portland came with their best guys and as a result, they get to go home with some hardware.
It might sting that the Lakers weren’t able to claim back-to-back summer league titles, but hopefully they’re competing for more than just a summer league title next season.
Not a replay but...When it's out, will someone please post the replay of the game.
Wow, the Lakers version of BlazerEdge is really butthurt.

Lets see... total minutes played last year:
Zach Collins 1,045
Caleb Swanigan 189
Jake Layman 160
Wade Baldwin 80
Total: 1,474
Lonzo Ballsack: 1,780
Kuzma: 2,401
Josh Hart: 1,461
Total: 5,642
Yeah, that's totally the same. We definitely brought our best guys.
He really came to life in those last two games on the offensive end. He basically was just a rebounder in the others. It was great to see.Now that it's been a few days, I'm really happy that Biggie has been vindicated. When he's making good decisions, his rebounding and passing are a real asset.
Yours is sealed???/ Damn you. I opened mine as a kid and would listen to it. BUT, I did get some autographs on mine......Jack Ramsey, Bill Walton, The Schonz , Luke and Lionel Hollins. Almost got Dr. J to sign it, but wasn’t in the right place at the right time. It’s on a shelf in Blazers Broadcasting.Anyone know when the new album will be out? I still have a sealed copy from 1977.

If I’m not mistaken,(I haven’t listened to it in years) that this album is actually a re-creation of the game, not the original call.My dad had that when I was a kid (it hasn't left the family). And probably when I was in middle school, I asked him if I could open it. he said OK (I figure it's only worth extra to a small amount of fans, so who cares).
God that album was cheese-tastic.

When I played Little League I was ten years old. I thought 11 was the max age. When I was 9, I was in Little League "Intermediates" (between Minors and Majors). We had a 14 year old on our team. This feels like that.
Little League was age 8-12 (5 years). Babe Ruth is 13-15. Regardless, it was still weird to have a hush-hush 14 year old. He was not great, but not bad either. Similar to the LAL situation with Ayres. When I played Little League I was ten years old. I thought 11 was the max age.

good post. Biggie is also a very good passer in the high post and on the break. He simply is not a low post player (of course neither was LaMarcus!). I feel like his whole future really depends on his shot. If he becomes a serious 3 point and midrange threat, he could become an average NBA player, which is actually quite good.I have doubts that biggie will ever be able to score in the post in one on one situations, but if he can develop consistency with his shot, he can replace Davis. He averaged around 3 offensive boards a game/36 last year. We know he attacks the boards. He sets good screens. With the shot, he becomes a threat to pop, and it would space the floor. Defensively he’s a liability on the perimeter but with our conservative scheme we can have him sit back and let Collins do most of the lifting.
I hope he shows up to training camp in the best shape possible. He can’t afford to be out of shape.
I’d still like to add another PF through trade, but I’d still rather see Biggie on the court than Meyers.

I don’t hate you at all man.

I’ll be honest, I’d still rather have him than Evan Turner
I want this SL Coach over Stotts.
And our announcers blow compared to international guys.

Didn't @Boob-No-More do a comparison and show that Bat shit crazy Lance is not as good as Turner?
Wasn't me, but one thing I've noticed about Lance is he really only seems to be engaged during the playoffs when he's playing against LeBron. It will be interesting to see how he plays next to LeBron.
The guy is probably one of the most unpredictable players in the NBA in recent years. You never know if Good Lance or Bad Lance is going to show up, and the difference between the two is quite significant. You may get lucky, but I know I wouldn't want to have to depend on the guy when it counts.
Back when he wanted out of IND (the first time) he felt like he was underpaid and underappreciated. CHO more than doubled his salary and he rewarded them by absolutely sucking, having the worst season of his career.
First Rondo, them Stephenson and then JaVale McGee... I'm not sure if this was what LeBron envisioned when he decided he wanted to build his next super team in LA. Gonna be an interesting season for the Lakers.
