What would--in your mind--be a reasonable price for Middleton that Milwaukee would actually be willing to accept?
Always hurt and we need a good defender at SF.Chandler Parsons?
Their pieces don't mesh at all.How many Buck players have we wanted desperately to trade for in the Last 3-4 years?
Sanders, Henson, Middleton, Giannis, Monroe....
You would think the way we covet their players they would win more than they have.
I've liked Mirza & Ian; only problem/potential problem would b their ages: Mirza 30 & Ian 29. I'm not ultra-"Jazzed" about Trevor but I wouldn't fight him coming here (he's 28).(Somewhat) Under the radar guys that I like are:
Greivis Vasquez (not sure there is a huge need here but he has always been criminally underrated imo)
Mirza Teletovic (Stotts' loves PFs that can shoot from deep)
Trevor Booker (was surprised that he isn't older than 28 - he would only be deep bench filler)
Ian Mahinmi (This guy is probably on a LOT of teams' lists of guys they want though) My number 1 underrated target if I am Oshley though.
Mario Chalmers (only if he came cheaper than Vasquez)
Jordan Hill (A bit undersized if you want to play him at C but there isn't much to pick from at this position)

They're only "unnamed" because Sly can't spell Worcestershire or Bechamel or ChatkaarSauces. Unnamed sauces.
Wrong! I can spell all words with whore in them. They're only "unnamed" because Sly can't spell Worcestershire or Bechamel or Chatkaar
He has knee issues. No thank you. Batum is better and doesn't have as serious of an injury history.Really starting to warm to the idea of pursuing Chandler Parsons this summer. I know he's gonna get full max, and Cuban will offer the full 5-years with 7.5% raises, but if he can see how much better his title chances will be by coming here, we might have a shot.
Prior to going to Dallas, Parsons had a rep as a pretty decent defender. His D rating is better than the his team's average, which suggests that he's better defensively than he's given credit for. I certainly don't disagree with continuing to develop Crabbe, and hope to see him stick around as the third guard (although I still think we'd be better with him starting and CJ playing 35mpg off the bench), but I don't see how that would clash with bringing Parsons in to start at SF.Parsons isn't a defender though. I'd rather continue developing Crabbe. If we are going to go after a SF I would honestly rather go after Batum...
Batum is better? How is Batum better? He's an overrated defender; he's an inconsistent scorer; he's a poorer shooter. He has knee issues. No thank you. Batum is better and doesn't have as serious of an injury history.
Been pumping the bring back Nic thing for a while now-- he'd fit in seamlessly with this roster.
Very possible. I just hate the idea of pursuing RFA's.What about Barnes? He looks completely unworthy of a max every time I watch the Warriors, but there has to be some reasoning behind why all these pundits say the guy will get PAID. Maybe it's true that all he needs is an opportunity?
Can Parsons pass as well as Nic? Batum would be a 3rd creator out of the P&R for us. Not sure Parsons can carry that responsibility. And CP had what was called a "hybrid microfracture." Ya I know it's silly to give too much credence to this, but with our history, I'd run the other way just because of that microfracture word.

Hellllllll no to batum.
At least Parsons is something new. And honestly I've liked Parsons game more than batum for awhile.

People at the beginning of the year were chest thumping when he started out well saying he is amazing and a lock for an all star.People only seem to remember the good about him. I remember him being inconsistent and extremely frustrating. To make matters worse, the dude is going to get maxed out. No thanks.

Funny how that talk completely died off and batum is back to his inconsistent ways
Completely agree. And this year he has no "divorce" or "wrist" excuses to fall back on.He can't sustain it. He never has. That's what is so frustrating. He has all that talent but he has never been able to really harness it. It's like he only plays well when he really feels like trying. If you put Dame's drive and determination into Batum, he could be a LeBron or a Kevin Durant.

I really like the Idea of Parsons if were going to chase a SF. I'd ideally want to keep Crabbe as well and have Crabbe just come off the bench for either CJ/Parsons when its needed.
