GO SEAHAWKS!!!
Been a Seahawks fans since I was a kid... before the bandwagon fans jumped on board. Grew up watching Steve Largent, Kenny Easley, Joe Nash, Roofus Porter, JL Williams, Jacob Green, Brian Blades, Jim Zorn, Dave Krieg, etc. etc.

You can't be that much of a fan, you didn't mention Efren Herrera. The fake field goals were the only reason to watch the Seahawks back then.

It's gonna be a good game, should be better than last years SB that's for sure (for fans without a dog in the fight) .

Seahawks 27

Patriots 20

YES!!! I AM SO EXCITED!!!

.... one more game before the worst sport ever is finally going into the offseason. The best part is when it's over! WOO HOO!

#muststicktotheschtick.

The only good thing about the superbowl is at it keeps people familiar with ancient Roman culture, even if it is rudimentary and limited to Roman numerals.

As a 9er fan, you have my respect. :smiley-thumbup: Unfortunately the bandwagon fans, who joined the Seattle fan-base from Oakland in 2012, overshadow the true fans who have been fans of the team since day one. Ask a bandwagon fan next time you see them who the Hawks only HOF coach is. Ugh, it's so sad.

That being said: Patriots 42, Seahawks 34.

Only $115,000 to go sit in a seat in New York to watch a meaningless game!

NFL doesnt care about the teams, the fans, players, anyone. Just about the corporate money. Enjoy!

All teams with success have bandwagoners. Nothing new.

I honestly don't know what to think of this one. Pick your mantra:
"Defense wins championships" -- how good is a defense when 3 of your all-Pro secondary are in various stages of banged-up?
"Go with the hot QB" -- The last two Super Bowls Brady has played in sucked on offense. I mean, they were pretty horrible. And those were better offenses. The fact that Belichick feels he has to bust out the "lineman-eligible" stuff (which I commend, btw) kind of speaks for itself.
"Pats can make SEA offense one-dimensional by taking away the run and putting Baldwin on Revis Island and daring him to throw" -- I tend to think that while the Seahawks receivers are "pedestrian", if you're putting 8 in the box you're either going to get 7 sacks or get torched. No in-between.

I think/hope it's a good, tight game, and if the LoB was healthy I'd think that it had a chance to look more like last year's Super Bowl than anything else...but I think it's more like the SF/Cincy game in 89, where the defenses unexpectedly ruled/kept it low-scoring and it took a large-heuvos drive at the end to win. I want the 'Hawks to win (and I've never heard "JL" Williams, just "John L." ;) ) but I don't get the feeling this will be anything more than 24-21 or so. Though I also think that there will be the normal weird stuff like safeties, missed 2-pt conversions, etc that will probably have it something like Patriots 22 (with 5 FGs), Seahawks 25 (4 FGs and a missed 2pt)

ALL SEAHAWKS FANS SHOULD BE REQUIRED TO HAVE THIS IN THEIR SIGNATURE:

"I HAVE BEEN A SEAHAWKS FAN FOR _ _ MONTHS"

PLEASE NOTE THERE ARE ONLY TWO NUMERICAL SPACES FOR YOUR ANSWER.

TIA.

I can't support the Patriots...... I'm a Ravens fan!!!! We traditionally like Defense. I have to support the Seahawks.

Is anyone else watching this 12 hour pregame show?

Wow, Johnny Weir...
