And now that we calmly waited and it wasn’t a false flag, the discussion can now turn to the fact that Trump and his game-show-badass demeanor has serious ramifications. And not just Trump, but a big potion of the right wing and their denial of truths and propagation falsehoods helps create alternative realities where people like the bomber live in a fantasy land.

Trump = demeanor

Lefts: actual calls for violence, civil disobedience, harassing politicians, etc.

The only ridiculous concept is the whataboutism in the conservative movement. If Trump lead like a rational person and a president who cared about bringing the country together then everything else was calm down.

This is a terrible comparison. This is not a political hit job targeted at the Obamas opponents who he was vocally and actively criticizing.

Also just because Obama didn't say what you want him to say doesn't mean he was an advocate for terrorism. This criticism of Obama is republican propaganda that actually stoked more hate.

During Bush's term, the liberals were just as triggered as they were now. They just can't handle losing, so they start going crazy, which takes the right fringe nutbags out into the mix.

People were upset but it was a different environment altogether, I think your old enough to remember what it was like. Trumps new America is different, now he is inspiring terrorist who agree with him not just nutbags who hate him. He also escalates issues with the nutbags who hate him, Antifa, Patriot Prayer, Neo Nazis and such are a rather recent development on the scale we are seeing.

First of all, I was talking about all the willful lying, not the violent rhetoric as I believe it’s the constant lying that is primarily at fault as that provides a false narrative where folks like the bomber (who was most likely already a violent whack job) can fuel their fantasy-land ideas.

But as far as the violent part, no I don’t think the left is nearly as bad. Trump talked of punching the other side and that he would pay for the legal fees of his supporters who got violent towards protesters. The examples you gave - well the only bad one was from an actor. The holder on could be interpreted as violent but I think it was meant figuratively. The others you mentioned weren’t violent in any way.

Now, we're getting them [criminals] out anyway, but we'd like to get them out a lot faster, and when you see these towns and when you see these thugs being thrown into the back of a paddy wagon, you just see them thrown in, rough, I said, please don't be too nice.
