No we aren't. At least not the left on here. Not one member of the left on here wanted Biden. I believe we have all called for Biden to be investigated for the Reade incident. I just cast my vote in the primary. It wasn't for Biden.

I didn't see you guys on the right calling for Trump to be investigated, you guys waived off every one of his accusers saying you didn't believe any of them. We have said we believe Reade. I see no hypocrisy from the left here.
Um, the comments were made towards the tweets and people on the media. I didn’t say, “hey, @RR7 is a hypocrite.” But I sure as hell are getting it from you and the other posters in here. Fail

Sounds like a copout.

Yes the hypocrisy goes both ways. However I think republicans seem to feel vindicated that hey you guys said we were all x, y, z because of how we reacted to this situation in the past, and now they believe the left is responding the same way.

But, the left here isn't responding the same way

Also the left isn’t some homogeneous organization. I think my positions in this have been completely consistent. I wish Biden would step down or that there be an independent investigation of the claims. But if comes down to Trump v Biden, I will likely vote Biden. I just wish there was a non-Rapey choice.

I’ll most likely be voting for Jacob Hornberger.

*some* left people (several in here) have said Biden should step aside.

any trump people say that?

That would be like asking God to step aside.
A lot of people on the “right” were not fans of Trump in 2016. Kind of similar to how the DNC didnt want Bernie, the GOP didnt really want Trump either. Unfortunately Trump was able to get the nomination and the GOP / “right” went for party over everything else. So (and again I cant speak for s2), but a lot of “republicans” did not want Trump.

Yes, I know. I'm one of them.

And in the past three years they’ve completely lost their integrity and balls and kiss up to this guy still. It’s embarrassing actually. He’s the school bully and he’s got his little group of suck ups who laugh at his jokes. Just watch Pence. Mitt Romney is the only one who has stood up for what’s right.

I have to disagree. Not all lefties. Its absolutely an individual thing and each person should be held to their own statements, actions and believes, but there are a few posters who are absolutely acting as Mags described. Unfortunately, they post all day every day and so anyone not leaning left, all we read is this mantra form a few lefties, who are killing it for the bulk of the leftists. The image is tainted because of a few who are on here day and night not accepting anything but their own opinion and they ridicule others who disagree.
I've been reading it. Mags is or was, almost being stalked by a couple members who keep calling him a hypocrite over this ,etc.

You know what would be really awesome? Is if both parties started condemning the cancerous members of their own. Both in average citizens and as politicians. This goes for both sides, not just leftists and Dems.

I know Ive heard Mags say Trump did stupid things.

We need both parties to start admitting to their own failures. Its the only way to get rid of this divide and start trusting each other again.

Starts as individuals and ends with the President. Or vice versa, IDGAF. Don't expect ANY president to initiate this though. It will only happen by coming from the people first.

The survey posted by Yankee illustrates this beautifully. Only 37% of (presumably liberal) respondents said their initial response was "there should be an investigation" or something more severe. Anyone want to claim the reponse to Blasey-Ford was comparable? Politics clearly and inarguably colors people's responses to "moral" issues.
