I'm still trying to understand why you've separated politics exclusively into two diametrically opposed groups other than the fact that you must identify with one extreme view and assume there's only one other and that it's also as extreme as yours mags...these are your nametags...wouldn't we be better discussing politics without the two extremes guiding every conversation?
Because there are 2 very polarized groups. Plus I was replying to yank doing just the same thing.

Let me ask you a question. Would you accept an article from Breitbart or Fox News as a reputable source?

Depends upon who wrote it and what they wrote...I don't subscribe to any periodicals but my preference at the library is to read the Wall Street Journal, Utne or the Economist....I can single out individuals that work for those organizations that I think are endlessly full of shit but I try to not make blanket statements unless they are about say.....Soldier of Fortune magazine or some specific targeted group. Fox news has aired enough bullshit that I put them at the bottom of the major networks for trustworthy coverage. I don't trust Trump and he trusts Fox news...or used to...like CNN is to Democrats...Fox seems to be to Republicans.....I've always read the news with skepticism...because, y'knowdewey beats truman.jpg

It was written by one person and one person only. Does the guy have any medical training or education on the matter to give his opion piece any validity?

You're one person and one person only. Do you carry any validity from what you trot out? Meh.

You made the comment not to conflate/confuse arrogance with confidence. I maintain Trump has both. Big whoop.

I made a meme for that

Yes big whoop, but then here you are arguing about it. obviously a bigger whoop than you are claiming.:blond:

Sure. And he's a devout Christian as well :biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh:

Your responses are indeed laughable at times. Probably why I have so much fun toying around with you. Oh, and I meant to thank you for removing me from your ignore status.

A person's signature is a true barometer of their true character...gotta write that one down.

People still look at signatures? You know you can hide those, don't you? It makes the forum so much easier to read. That way you don't have to scroll through them like a Maris post every thread.

To each their own.

I wouldn't be too concerned about it. Someone must be in your head.

If that's a joke about personal poster signatures on this forum, I get it, and yes, I know they can be hidden.

...otherwise, that's not at all what I was referring to. ( re; Trump's signature)

I discovered that when mags had a yellow wandering eyeball for his sig....probably haven't allowed sigs since then

I wonder if rather than just deleting posts or banning people from threads, we should start banning people if they talk to certain other people...

Some of the reagents in this experiment are toxic when they mix together, but are probably fine on their own.

I love ya, man.

So Tara Reide was on Megyn Kelly. Anyone watch it? I saw some clips, but like about 20-30 seconds total

Exclusive: 1996 court document confirms Tara Reade shared Biden harassment allegation
By Matt Fountain

May 07, 2020 03:22 PM,
The San Luis Obispo County court filing is the first official public record confirming she made allegations at that time.
A court document from 1996 shows former Senate staffer Tara Reade told her ex-husband she was sexually harassed while working for Joe Biden in 1993.

The declaration — exclusively obtained by The Tribune in San Luis Obispo, California — does not say Biden committed the harassment nor does it mention Reade’s more recent allegations of sexual assault.

Reade’s then-husband Theodore Dronen wrote the court declaration. Dronen at the time was contesting a restraining order Reade filed against him days after he filed for divorce, Superior Court records show.

In it, he writes Reade told him about “a problem she was having at work regarding sexual harassment, in U.S. Senator Joe Biden’s office.”

It appears to be the only written record that has surfaced from the time that substantiates Reade shared her account in the years following the alleged incident, though a former neighbor came forward last week about similar conversations she said she had with Reade in 1995.

The news came as Reade was preparing for the release of her first on-camera interviewsince the former vice president and presumptive Democratic nominee for president personally denied the allegations May 1 on MSNBC. Former Fox News host Megyn Kelly tweeted about the interview Thursday morning, calling it “a riveting exchange.” She did not indicate when it would be published.

In the filing dated March 25, 1996, Dronen testified that he met Reade in the spring of 1993 while the two worked for separate members of Congress in Washington, D.C.

Dronen wrote that Reade told him she “eventually struck a deal with the chief of staff of the Senator’s office and left her position.”

“It was obvious that this event had a very traumatic effect on (Reade), and that she is still sensitive and effected (sic) by it today,” Dronen wrote.

A declaration filed March 1996 in San Luis Obispo Superior Court by the ex-husband of Tara Reade includes this passage referencing Read’s experience as a former Senate staffer for then-Sen. Joe Biden in 1993. Notably, it mentions “sexual harassment” rather than “sexual assault,” and it doesn’t specifically accuse Biden of misconduct. Matt Fountain mfountain@thetribunenews.com
Dronen filed the record in response to a similar declaration written by Reade in support of her restraining order request, in which Reade described incidents of abuse throughout her life. In interviews with The Tribune and other media, Reade has identified herself as a domestic violence survivor and victim’s advocate.

Though the ex-husband disputed many statements Reade made in her declaration, he wrote at the time that the alleged incident in Biden’s office and others described in the document “color (Reade’s) perception and judgment” of her civil case.

Reade has recently said that in 1993, Biden pushed her up against a wall in a semi-private hallway, reached under her skirt, and digitally penetrated her with his fingers.

Her account has changed over time. In 2019 she was one of eight women to accuse Biden of unwanted touching, but not sexual assault.

Response to the court document
Asked for comment Thursday, the national press secretary for Biden’s presidential campaign, T.J. Ducklo, said the campaign is not commenting on the latest development at this time.
