Wrong....the world has advocated for the #Metoo movement...the only folks who haven't are mysogynstic assholes or sexual abusers..that's not a flaw if the Dems publicly support it in anyone's view...just really fishing for anti Dem bait...I think we all know the Metoo movement isn't the GOP platform

Blasey-Ford actusally trestified, got railed by republicans and all it got her is her allegations swept under the rug. You are also making a lot of assumptions about her motivation without anything to substantiate it. Sorry, hard to put much stock into your theories. I'm a big advocate for womens rights as I grew up in a family of 3 sisters and have 2 daughters myself and a granddaughter, but if women want to protect those rights, then they need to act in a more reasonable time frame so the allegations can be thoroughly investigated and real time facts can be checked. Also, going to the hospital/ doctor and having some testing done immediately regardless of if you want to make it public or not should be the minimum.

no...I had two distinct categories for Metoo detractors.....I can come up with more but really? who needs to prove rape and sexual abuse are wrong to you? If it's me mags...mission accomplished....I wouldn't think you'd be against the movement being a dad and husband and son....it's that pesky...left vs right thing you are grasping onto...relax mags...let it go...think about your happy spirit animal! The #Metoo movement is Trump's adversary, doesn't have to be yours too! Pretty sure Spacey and Cosby didn't get exposed for their political leanings

I’m against any movement where it labels anyone guilty until proven innocent.

Actually, I'm not making any assumptions at all. You asked a question as to a possible plausible motive and I gave one. I don't know what her motives are at all. She's made an accusation, has some corroborating evidence, and has asked for a chance to be heard. That's it. Either the Democratic Party means it when they say that a woman claiming she was assaulted should be listened to, or they don't. It's really as simple as that.

I'm a bit confused because on one hand, you agree that it's not "necessarily the party's position" but that doesn't equate to what you asserted/implied earlier about the implication that the Dems were saying; "What are they doing now? Nothing to see here. Nothing happened. Hey, look at these nifty VP options."

Anyway, I'm not sure how/why/where you got the notion that was the Dem's position because I see no evidence of it.

so you are against trumps constant accusations of the media is the enemy? That's an obvious false statement as there has been concrete video evicence of trump saying things and then denies it on camera and calls it fake news. Can't make this shit up as it's available for your viewing.

Like I said, do you know if the DNC hasn't even looked into the allegations? Also, her corraborating evidence is what she told someone. Where is Squee when we need him?

No, but neither does anyone else. I’ve said repeatedly that a transparent process is needed.

She has a recording of her mom calling Larry King, she has a brother who backs her, and she has a friend who is a Biden supporter but vouches for the fact that Reade told her about this incident years ago. That’s far more than was available in the Kavanaugh incident yet a lot of people around here were willing to believe those claims.

I’m not saying I’m convinced of her story. I am saying that there’s enough that the Party should investigate and the voters should know what is found.

Their position so far is silence. That may change, but until it does, it’s a reasonable assumption that they are backing their candidate.

Edit: I see Pelosi, Gillibrand, Klobuchar, Harris, and Stacey Abrams are all firmly in support of Joe. Of course, except for Nancy they all want to be his veep so go figure.

Not true. Biden is appearing on MSNBC tomorrow to discuss the allegations and congressman Hakeem Jeffries said it should be investigated. If they investigate would you be satisfied with a dem led investigation and them stonewalling and restricting what can be done in similar fashion to the republican led investigation for Kavanaugh?

I’ve said before that an investigation by the Democrats is fine by me as long as they share the information transparently. It’s their candidate they’re choosing and the Republicans have no role in the process.
 
For the first debate they should hook Trump and Biden up to lie detector machines.
