Pretty compelling evidence seeing as no sexual allegation was made.
"In it, he writes Reade told him about “a problem she was having at work regarding sexual harassment, in U.S. Senator Joe Biden’s office.”
No mention of any sexual act and no mention that it was Joe Biden. It merely states Joe Biden's office.
You have to realize that there are people who fear that that their time in power (or more accurately, people who look a lot like them in power/control over the "moral compass" of the country) is in jeopardy. So much fear that they put their effort behind a man who doesn't share their morals, ethics, or even their values, solely because he is on their side (and white).
It's no surprise that people are buying a con-man's story. And yes, to a degree every politician says what their base wants to hear, but no one does it to the level that he does.
So we can argue until we're blue in the face, it won't matter. They seem to have bought into the system, and struggle to see a way out of it. So instead of saying "hey you know, this guy actually doesn't hold the same values I have about life/religion/country/whatever", they double down on what he says.
I mean for fucks sake, this is the guy who jokes about sexually assaulting women, talks about walking in on *teenagers* as they are changing clothes, makes fun of people with disabilities, brags about his penis size, openly mocks and degrades women, praises dictators, mocks those who called John McCain a hero, was the epitome of privilege growing up (how anyone who served in the military can stomach this man, especially those who openly mocked Bill Clinton for doing the same thing), says "two Corinthians", is racist (or at best, manipulates those who are), is a bully, a liar and a cheat, and yet they still will just bury their head in the sand because he "stands for what they stand for".
But they're never really clear about what they stand for OR they come up with the equivalent of the "Hitler did some good things too" argument.
