Hell its not even that hard either, just catch some Jason Kidd alley oops and then sign a max contract.

looking at his height and athleticism, i think it's safe to say he has the possibility of actually contributing more than hassan adams could to this team.

Take a look at the picture we have of him on netsdaily. It's small but what is shows is that he is sooo skinny...toothpick arms for the NBA.

Ha, put him next to Mikki, and he won't look so skinny! Besides, he'll just tell a few jokes, get his defender to crack up, and Boom Tho!

BTW, the videos on his site are hilarious. I really, really hope he makes the team.

I don't know if he can contribute more. I guess he has shotbocking and rebounding that Hassan doesn't? However to really get an edge he'll need to knock down that open jumper I keep hearing about.

Yeah, we need to see his skills. I wonder if he can play SF.

That'd be money, since he's 6'10" I think? Suck on that Dorrell Wright!

The humor is self-effacing...and by the way, he's 6' 11" anddid average 10 and 8 off the bench as a 22 year old on the D League championship team. Hell, he blocked six shots in the championship game.

yeah, but do you have any way to explain the inconsistency when it comes to shotblocking?

in that game, he got 6. some games, he'll get 2. half his games, he gets zero. what's up with that?

6-11? Please get Illic off this team. I'd love to get inside the head of Rod Thron and see what his opinion is of Benson. Does he think he can be the next Nets project? Does he admire his shotblocking, scoring, or what? I wish a beat writer would ask him

Rather thanlook at itthat way, think aboutwhat he did in the biggest game of his career. I don't think he will make the team. But I do think he has to be given credit for stepping up when the chips are down. And that is his record: When Leon Powe went down his junior year, an All-American gone for the year, he stepped up and averaged 14 and 7 in the PAC-10, with 6 double-doubles in conference games, as many as Channing Frye. If he had developed his senior year, instead of tearing his meniscus and fracturing his heel bone, he might very well have been drafted in the second round. Athletic 6'11" forwards, even thin ones, are a commodity teams take chances on, particularly those who step up.

especially if they're as cool and funny as Boom Tho.

I hope he makes the team, or any NBA team for that matter, eventually.
